In the past few months, Togolese footballer, Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor has been releasing online family issues and how he has been dealing with them as well as vice versa. As days, weeks, months stretched on, he was reported to have dumped his Christian faith and converted to islam. His ‘conversion’ was also published online with a YouTube video showing him in a gathering of muslim faithfuls.

In his expected usual self, he released the reasons why he converted to Islam.

Check out his reasons

I GOT 13 VALID REASONS WHY AND HOW MUSLIMS ARE LIKE JESUS (PBUH) AND TRUER FOLLOWERS OF JESUS THAN MOST CHRISTIANS BELIEVE:

1. Jesus (pbuh) taught that there is only One God and Only God should be worshipped as taught in Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29. Muslims also believe this as taught in the Qur’an verse 4:171.

2. Jesus (pbuh) didn’t eat pork as taught in Leviticus 11:7 , and neither do Muslims as taught in the Qur’an verse 6:145.

3. Jesus (pbuh) greeted with the words “as salaamu alaikum” (Peace be with you) in John 20:21. Muslims also greet each other this way.

4. Jesus (pbuh) always said “God Willing” (inshallah), Muslims say this too before doing anything as taught in the Qur’an verses 18:23-24.

5. Jesus (pbuh) washed his face, hands, and feet before praying. The Muslims do the same.

6. Jesus (pbuh) and other prophets of the Bible prayed with their head to the ground (see Matthew26:39). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verse 3:43.

7. Jesus (pbuh) had a beard and wore a throbe. It is Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same.

8. Jesus (pbuh) followed the law and believed in all the prophets, (see Matthew 5:17). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verses 3:84, and 2:285.

9. Jesus’ mother Maryam (pbut) dressed modestly by fully covering her body and wearing a headscarf (hijab) as found in 1 Timothy 2:9, Genesis 24:64-65, and Corinthians 11:6. Muslim women modestly dress the same as taught in the Qur’an verse 33:59.

10. Jesus (pbuh) and other prophets of the Bible fasted up to 40 days (see Exodus 34:28, Daniel 10:2-6. 1Kings 19:8, and Matthew 4:1-Muslims do so also during the month of Ramadan. Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30 days (see Qur’an 2:183), and others take it a step further by fasting an additional 6 days to increase their rewards.

11. Jesus (pbuh) taught to say “Peace to this house” when entering it (see Luke 10:5), and to also greet the people in the house with “peace be unto you”. Muslims do exactly what Jesus did and taught. When we enter our homes and the homes of others we say “Bismillah” and also greet with “as salaamu alaikum” (peace be upon you) as taught in the Qur’an verse 24:61.

12. Jesus (pbuh) was circumcised. Circumcision is 1 of the 5 fitrah in Islam, so Muslim men are required to be circumcised. According to the Bible in Luke 2:21, Jesus was eight days old when he was circumcised. In the Torah, Allah/God stated to the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) that it is an “Everlasting covenant” (see Genesis 17:13). In the Qur’an verse 16:123 Muslims are required to follow the religion of Abraham. The Prophet Muhammad (saws) said, “The Prophet Abraham
circumcised himself when he was eighty years old.” (see Sahih hadith Bukhari, Muslim, and Ahmad).

13. Jesus (pbuh) spoke aramaic and called God”Elah”, which is pronounced the same as “Allah”. Aramaic is an ancient, Biblical language. It is one of the Semitic languages that also include Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopic and the ancient Assyrian and Babylonian language of Akkadian.
The Aramaic”Elah” and the Arabic “Allah” are the same.

The Aramaic “Elah” is derived from the Arabic “Allah”, and it means “GOD”. “Allah” in Arabic also means”GOD”, the Supreme GOD Almighty. You can easilysee the similarity in their pronunciation so this concludes that the God of Jesus is also the God of the Muslims, of all mankind, and all that exist.

Now tell me who is the real follower of jesus (pbuh)? Obviously Muslims. Now I believe am a true follower of Jesus PBUH

Thanks for your explanation, most of the follower of Islam may not know all these thing you have just said. Caution!!! Pls don’t turn to be fanatics.

    • Sani

As most of the Christian may not even know the words of the Bible which he is relating to the words of the Quran. Because most Christian only relly on the Bible without even knowing what it’s contains. If you are not satisfied then check out the Bible and confirmed. Don’t let ignorant to lead you to he’ll fire.

      • Fire

Its very obvious that the Quran is more like duplicating the bible, with little alterations here and there. Bible existed before the Quran true/false

        • kunle bello

Yes ,u are right but u people refused to obey the quran that came after the bible.Every through muslim must ve belief in bible.

          • Wesley100

Don’t get it twisted follow your heart and religion the problem with most muslim is that you want everyone to be muslim which is impossible. All the biblical reference are picked at random for you to understand bible you will need to read it all. For instance bible stated that we should not eat swine(pig) and you pick that alone what about camel, rabbit (hare) etc that was mentioned in the passage. and the reason why people wear robe then is because of the desert not now in the city. so follow your heart emmanuel adebayor being a Muslim will not make people muslim.

          • Ali

Wesley: Allah has prescribed upon every muslim with the responsibility to make ‘Dawa’/call non-belivers to the true religion, Islam. So since prophet muhammad (peace be upon him) is the final messanger and prophet to mankind and on to prophet muhammad (peace be upon him) the final and completed message to all Allah’s creation was revealed. After the prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) died the mission to spread the truth as prescribed by Allah in the Quran ( which completes the same truth that was sent to Abraham, Moses and Jesus). Our job now is to not deny anyone knowledge about this Truth- the Quran. The quran teaches that on the day of judgement, there will be nonbelivers who will make the excuse of not knowing or ever given the opportunity to know the truth…I have to stop here but also know that no one can ever be forced into, bribed, or favored in any form just to become muslim. It’s a religion by free will as ordered by Allah. The order is to invite n teach, period! Brother, I hereby invite you to the truth and to Islam. Allah said ” I have completed my revelation to mankind and i have chosen islam as your religion.” Adabayor, I’ve followed your football career throughout and i ve watched nearly every single match you have played for Arsenal FC. So i ve been a big fan of yours in sports. Now, welcome to this religion of truth, peace and success in the hereafter! Alhamdulillaah!

          • Guest

Islam is very clear concerning the choice of man as far as religion is concern, there is no compulsion in religion.
According to quran whoever choses a religion other than Islam it will never be accepted from him and in the here after he will be among the losers.
So you are right not every person will be a muslim only those who love God their creator will like to do will His will. Thus they seach the truth and they found it in Islam.

          • Joe

That’s according to you & your faith.

          • mozuka5129

Joe,you are right…Islam is the only religion that stated firmly and clearly that Allah only accepted Islam as mentioned in the Quran. You cannot find in the Bible that say God only accepted Christianity..because the word Christianity is a new word!

          • mozuka5129

Wesley ,is up to you whether you want to believe or you want to return to Islam.Only Allah can give you Guidance. .we Muslims only help to spread the word of Allah. .

          • michael okeniyi

And who says muslims want everyone to be muslims?? We are obligated to say the truth and dats wat we r doing…i see you becoming a muslim thou. you sound like somone dats gonna accept the truth one day. May Allah bring you to the ryt path. Aameen

Every Muslim must belief in the Injeel that was revealed to Prophet Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) not the Bible. The Bible is a new word .You could not even found the word Bible in the Bible!.the Bible is just remnants from the Injeel. It is is full of contradictions ..there no more original Injeel available. .Allah did not preserve as Allah did to the Quran..

        • big boy

bruh….the bible is typed after Jesus(a.s.w) died which confirms the reason why some of the verses in the bible are slightly different, and nowaday some verses in the bible are lies, though they can’t change every single verse in the bible, that’s why some are true and some are lies, on the other hand the Quran was typed when the prophet Muhammad(saw) was still alive. And the Quran has never been changed for any reason, if u check different Qurans u will see that every single word is the same

          • True Christian

First mistake Jesus is not dead he liveth. He has been alive for ages an all of us will die nd he will still b alive. Adebayor got it all wrong bye adressing Jesus with peace be upon him.

          • michael okeniyi

Ages?…i tot u said he was the word and he is god? now u hv agreed that he started existing at a certain time?

          • True Christian

Is christianity the only religion on Earth? Hv u ever tot abt Y all eyes is on christianity? Y dnt u castigate buddist, people dat clearly worship a big idol as their god? My broda read well nd tink deep, d devil wants christianity wiped out Y. Because he knws its d true religion, dats y u c sme companies alter d bible. The bible is translated in many languages for transparency in oda nt to hide any tin from d face od d earth but such is nt d case wit d quran u hv to go to special school to learn it.

        • Cheree Opasik

The Torah existed before the bible.. So maybe you should be jewish.

          • michael okeniyi

nice one brother….since the Bible existed b4 the Qur’an and he is a christian

        • Hannatu Adamu

yet, there are so many science facts included in the Qur’an that are not in the Bible. how come?

          • True Christian

If u believe in science den ur on ur way to hell. Who brought abt d no god believe dat sme ppl worship nd call dia slf free tinkers? They ar d same scientist

          • Hannatu Adamu

Are you implying that a “true christian” does not believe in science? i doubt the pope and your pastors would agree with you. belief in science does not necessarily mean a disbelief in God, if that scientific knowledge does not contradict God. i cited the fact of the scientific facts in the Qur’an only to prove that it is a book so amazing that it included at the time of its revelation scientific knowledge that only came to be known and proved in later centuries, more than a thousand years later!

        • Joe

          Yes, copy & paste.

      • Wesley100

To understand bible, you don’t pick and select when it’s not a cloth or shoe. like all the reference he made in this message are not the truth of what the bible says. For instance where he wrote about swine(pig) the bible stated many animals like rabbit and camel etc but he only pick on pig. and the reference are old testament learn the basics about old and new testament in the bible b4 you believe what he was saying. For instance in old testament we worship God with sacrifice and in new testament we worship with praise.

        • Hannatu Adamu

If it truly is the same God, why would the worship ever change? wouldn’t it more sense to be consistent?

    • Abuakari M Rashad

U are right but who wrote the bible?
Jesus or muses? ( peace be upon them all)
If you are lazy to make research about Christianity n Islam, just login to YouTube n watch debate btw Ahmed Dedat n Jemmy Swaggart on the topic is the bible the word of God?
In fact there is no religion in the side of God appart from Islam. Jesus, Muses, Abraham n the rest of the prophets were all Muslims. There is nothing like Christianity , judism or what ever religion in side of God but Islam.
You can check also Ahmed Dedat in YouTube by the topic (Christianity, Judaism or Islam)
So that u can see n hear then decide for your self . may Allah guide us all on the right path.
      Ameen

      • Wesley100

You didn’t know much about religion. you are busy watching youtube and debates about religion that even constitute to more ignorant. everyone can’t be muslim and that’s the fact and it will be like that till world end. follow your hearth and worship what you believe in. and stop watching fool arguing about religion.

        • uwo

Dear Wesley, Sincde you r as ignorant as it is, the muslim cant do anything to change your believe, because there is s surah that tells us NOT to belive in what you belive in and you can also do like wise.Ameen

          • michael okeniyi

            surat kafiroon!!

  • Segun Adeoye

Her suddenly gone nuts! It’s obvious the jazz placed on Adebayo has started working! He’s confused!!

    • Musa

What he mentioned from the Bible is it correct or not. That should be what you should be concerned about if truely you have not gone nuts. Go and check out the Bible and confirmed what he says and don’t get confused

      • Dim

Bearing a Christian name, attending a religious centre (Church), praying to God, fasting, partaking in Holy communion, preaching, giving alms, reading Holy Bible and e.t.c. never makes anybody a christian. Christianity is a way of life…

    • Hannatu Adamu

tell us exactly why you came to this conclusion about him

    • mozuka5129

He is not confused. .He is on the right tracks..he studied the Bible well not like other Christians who just believe the Church but not to do thoroughly research on the Bible!

  • Abdul Razak Mohammed Riyan

Christians refuse to learn and can’t stop following their prophets of today who uses them to make money and give them false hope. it’s funny they don’t want to read

  • King Con

    Jesus didn’t support Spurs!

  • Teranga

If i ever saw a dumb reason to switch faith, this is it. Its even more disappointing that Muslims on here are applauding him for being a muslim because of these lame reasons.

    • Confused

how? Ijust googled these Bible verses and they’re all true. Pig is prohibited in Christianity but Christians eat it all the time.

      • Wesley100

You people still live in the past I must say because all he said was old testament. is it only pig that was stated on that passage. read from beginning to end and see what muslim are eating now that was stated. and because of this kind of messages that’s why we have new new testament. Don’t pick verses learn the chapter.

        • Kreon

That’s the reason I love the Holy Quran. It’s one and has never been altered like the Bibile (s). the Good news, The bad news, the New testament and the Last testament etc….

          • michael okeniyi

            and the foreseeable testament…hahaha

        • uwo

Wake up you ignorant people, now tht u know the truth..

        • Hannatu Adamu

if the old testament isn’t part of “the bible” any longer, why do you still have them together as a book called “the bible”. you might as well make yourselves clear: what book do you believe in and obey, really?

          • True Christian

Old testament is teaching us history d way of d past so dat we dnt go dwn nd mk mistakes d same way while d new testament nd new commandment was given after d attonment of d sins of men by Jesus christ. So they ar all book we learn from people witout history ar lost people

          • Hannatu Adamu

Good. if the old testament is a book you no longer follow, separate if from the new testament so we know they are two separate books, and when you say “the bible” you mean only the new testament to which you are now bound. having them together always will definitely cause problems because there are bound to be contradictions between them since you claim to now follow a “newer” law.

          • Ifan Saeed

I’m sorry if i offend you here, ut @disqus_OyJXMTrUel:disqus , but please be so kind to tell me what “EDITION” of the NEW Testament, and by whom is it written are your reading ? and why come up with a new edition every year if it Truly is “the” word of god ?
You see, there must be wrong with it that there are soooo many authors and so many editions that it has to be “reviewed” every year.

-do think about this next time when your reading.

us Muslims have the same Q’uran, it doesnt matter if you find “a” Q’uran in England, Mexico, Japan, Pakistan, or Australia,
NOT a SINGLE word has been changed since the “first” edition.
because it simply is PERFECT> it is THE word of GOD, : Allah.

Besides the Q’uran, read the Hadith’s , they basically “back-up” the Q’uran and teach us the way of life. the rules and regulations, how to deal with different kind of situations .

in no way i am saying that the old or the new testaments are all fake or corrupted or anything what so ever,
even the Q;uran teaches us that they were real, but only they have been manipluated to such an extend that it was not THE word of God anymore, hence came the final “chapter” in the Holy Books, known as “Q’uran”

if you believe that there is the OLD testament and the NEW testament, you might see the Q’uran as the FINAL TESTAMENT.

feel free to whatsapp me if you need to discuss firther on this subject, am always open for discussions

    • Tasiu Yusuf

And when it is said to them, “Follow what Allah has revealed,” they say, “Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing.” Even though their fathers understood nothing, nor were they guided?

  • Anti BH

One of the biggest problem with Christians is that they do not learn other religion and as well as theirs and end up arguing blindly about others. Take your time to understand other religion so you can defend yours and stop basking in the euphoria of ignorance. Wake up from your eternal coma of dumbness and learn!

    • kled23

Do u know of the greatest bias that christian apologists have regarding one ruling in Islam that is also permitted in Christianity like in Islam but many christians don’t know, it is the matter of right hand possession or concubine, bible explicitly allows concubines infact many different ways a person can come into concubinage, like father selling daughter, a person simply giving herself up for slavery, unable to pay debt, prisoner of war etc, Islam limits it to only prisoners of war after exchange of prisoners, ransom and the leftover females can be distributed as concubines by the authority if they are not pregnant after one cycle,

But ull see christian apologist attack muslims by saying they have sex slaves, while using decent terms in their theology when this matter comes to brush, what hypocrisy.

      • Omar

In Bible 1 Kings 11:1-3 prophet Solomon had 300 concubines and 700 wives. Tell Christians to open their Bible or just google it.

        • True Christian

That was the old testament do u even knw d difference btwn d new commandment nd old commandment? U are d one to do d googling. Solomon was accurately punished nd delt with

          • Furgen Plak

Does it even matter if it is old or new? The fact that he had this many wives and concubines does not change now, does it? Or does the new testament deny this?

          • Moeslem

Just use ur logic, Allah is god, god wont be have son, do u think Jesus is son of god ? Please use ur logical, think about it… Even in Quran Allah tell it thats not Allah son, he just human like us but he is better than us.. How do u think if this world have many god ? Maybe one god will battle with other god.. Haha

          • Furgen Plak

Hahahaha! Brother, you don’t have to sell it to me. We are of the same opinion.

          • MJ Pete

What you don’t realize about the Bible is that some things in the bible are just reported in the bible but not approved of by God. They are mentioned so you can see the sin of those who partake in it and learn a lesson from it by seeing what bad things came of the participation in that sin.

          • Hannatu Adamu

But if it is a sin, it would be clearly written as a sin, not left to you to come to that conclusion on your own. Most importantly, if it is a sin, a Man of God would not be caught doing it at all. Otherwise, how can others be guided?

          • Azfar

Peace be upon you. =) In Islam we dont believe in Our prophets (Peace Be Upon Them All) commiting Sins.. They are the Best people of their time, chosen by our Creator, Allah. I am shocked the last time i read about Prophet Lot (pbuh) and her daughters commiting filthy act in your Bible. Among the signs of the Verse and Stories in the Bible being Authored/Changed. Astaghfirullah.. I hope you find Peace my dear Brother in Humanity. =)

          • True Christian

Point of correction lot was nt neva a prophet.

          • Morgan

please you don’t have to argue with that moron,he doesn’t know anything about Bible or Christ,Muslims worship their prophet Mohammad but we Christians worship God,the creator of universe

          • Joshua

Yes, Because there is only one God, and He is God from everlasting to everlasting (see Psalms 90:2).
In the Bible, God declares: “Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.” (Isaiah 43:10).

          • Ali Ahmed Khan

Jesus was born . who was God when Adam was created and send on Earth ?

          • Ali Ahmed Khan

You beleive that Jesus was crucified but Allah has taken him in the skies and he will come in the future.

          • Carolyn

Actually, Christians worship Jesus, whom they see as God, but Muslims worship God and no other. Muslims do not believe that God was ever sent to Earth in the form of man.

          • Carol Kouss

Yes that is correct, as they see Jesus as God incarnate. Muslims do worship a God, however the very devout revere Muhammad to the same level as Allah in that they are willing to die for him. Look at how some react at the slightest criticism of Muhammad and you will see that he was not just an ordinary prophet. Many Quran verses state to obey Allah & his messenger, putting them both at the same level.

          • Jeff

Carol- where did you get the wrong idea that Muslims placed Muhammad same level as God? Muslims practice strict monotheism but Christians have introduced paganism by elevating Jesus to divine status. Obey Muhammad means to follow his practices as a human being i.e how he conduct family life, how he eats, talk, drink, sleep etc. Dont get the wrong idea ma’am.

          • Hannatu Adamu

They are NOT at the same level. The AND used in those contexts are not conjunctive. During the time of the Prophet (bbuh) he himself interpreted it to mean that you cannot believe in God and the Qur’an which he was preaching unless you also believed in his own Prophethood and the way he lived his life. You have to trust the messenger to believe in the message. Otherwise, you could claim it was a lie!

          • Tasiu Yusuf

Obey God and his messenger, meaning?
Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination.
            Same Qur’an verse

          • Tasiu Yusuf

It is not but a revelation revealed,

          • Tasiu Yusuf

You got it all wrong. Obey Allah and his messager. Read it’s carefully. The verse didn’t say obey Allah with Mohammad.
The verse said Obey Allah and his messager. Meaning whoever obeys what the prophet came with from his lord has indeed obeys Allah.

          • Tasiu Yusuf

            Volume 4, Book 55, Number 654:

            Narrated ‘Umar:

I heard the Prophet saying, “Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians praised the son of Mary, for I am only a Slave. So, call me the Slave of Allah and His Apostle.”

          • Omar Hassan

Good point when saying “Muslims do not believe that God was ever sent to Earth in the form of man.” Now as a Muslim first question that comes to my head to you is that who would send the King or the Master to see his slave or in other words who asks the owner or the maker of something to go look how he made it. Let’s analyze that God never came to this earth. But who created the earth, the heavens, the trees, the mountains and the man. If that is the God we are talking about then I don’t see a reason why he would want to come and see what is going on the earth when He is the maker and the creator and the one and the only who sends his prophets and angels to the earth to work for him to warn people like me and you to not go to the hell with our sins by associating a partner to the God who is one and only one, but worship the God who sent Jesus and his likes for our salvation.

          • Ali Ahmed Khan

Are you a Muslim? you dressed like muslim,

          • tanits ring

Yes you are correct, however Muslims seem to get much more angry and are ready to kill when their prophet is criticized than when someone criticises Allah. Another thing, if Islam was created to worship this one true G-D, then why, in the most important declaration of one’s Islamic faith, the Shahada, is Muhammad’s name mentioned? His name can appear elsewhere, but why particularly in this ever important sentence. Hmmm, Looks like Muhammad is put on a equal footing with Allah.

          • kled23

Violent reactions to what non muslims do in their own lands are condemned by majority of scholars, it’s the love and reveration of ppl for prophet Muhammad to act this way even tho sometimes its not right way, regarding Shahada, when christians convert to islam they are made to say Jesus son of Mary is Chosen and prophet of God, so does that mean they start worshipping Jesus too, when Moses came it was mandatory on his ppl to accept him as messenger nd take him as representative of God’s message on Earth, when Solomon came they are obliged to accept him as messenger, when Jesus came, it was mandatory for them to accept him, u can’t reject a messenger when it comes to the ppl, it is tantamount to disbelief in God.

          • Just Saying

not all. but most are Trinitarians. you look like a learned muslim? can you tell me where gog and magog are?

          • kled23

It is not relevant, they might be any place , in caves, undiscovered lands, sly , hidden etc, its not a biggie among muslims.

          • Just Saying

aren’t there billions of them? one hadith says they will be 9 and a half times as many of them as there are muslims. that would but them at 13.5 billion. that is a lot of caves. do you really think these are that many undiscovered lands?

          • kled23

source for that hadith, and even if it is mentioned in hadiths, it’s subject to much interpretation and flexibilty, hadith and quran is not on same standing and also there is the matter of authenticity, applicability, which school of thought has accepted it, which has rejected it etc

          • Just Saying

I don’t recall where I read it. don’t remember if the narrator was abu hurraai (how do you spell the ‘cat guys’ name?) are you a shia? do you discount his hadiths if there is no other narrator? what madhab do you follow?
anyway, you don’t think gog and magog will devour everything before them? what is the lake in Palestine they are supposed to drink up with the front ranks of the army even before the rear will have a chance to drink?

          • kled23

im not shia , i follow the mainstream islam, u have to understand hadiths before discussing it, different schools of thought pick and choose by the criteria they set for deducting laws or as u say jurispundence, i’m not denying hadiths, im just making clear im not obliged to follow it if it doesn’t match the criteria of my school , and also how authentic is the hadith is a matter of discussion

          • Just Saying

so you are a sunni? so what school? malaki, shafi’i. hanafi, hanbali? (some of those might be misspelled, but you should be able to figure out what I mean.)

          • kled23

Malaki school, but how wuld that benefit u.

          • Just Saying

so what does the malaki school say about apostasy? death, right?

          • kled23

yes, if it is an islamic state, acts of PUBLIC apostasy is punishable by death, what u do in ur private life whether u pray or not, believe in God or not is ur personal matter but if u want to go out in streets and declare ur an apostate, this is not allowed or start a movement declaring urself to be an apostate, and calling others to it, it has consequences, then ur taken to the Judge who carefully questions u and ur beliefs to determine if ur a sinner or really an apostate, if ur an apostate, u r given 3 days to come back to Islam i.e just say to the judge i retract my views, and that is it, ur free to leave, or u can be persistent till the end and face the death penalty.

          • Just Saying

so how does that not contradict the Koran, 2:256? or the verse, I don’t recall the number at this moment, be it goes something like this: ‘you have your religion and I will have mine’.

          • kled23

There is no compulsion of religion, no non muslim can be compelled to accept islam, they have their own freewill and can practice their religion without any hindrance or compulsion, the verse deals with non muslim,

even te other verse u were referring to, surah al kafiroon or chapter 109, it speaks about disbelievers, its not a discussion among muslims, once a person becomes muslim, this is the verse that applies

It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His
Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any
choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger
has certainly strayed into clear error. Quran 33:36..

But like i said earlier, u don’t have secret service or NSA to see who is apostatizing, espionage is forbidden in islam among muslims, so muslims can believe whatever they want in their private and personal life, practice islam or not etc, its totally upto them, but just don’t promote apostasy to misguide others. Muslims are free to choose to do what tey want.

          • Just Saying

do you consider yourself a salafi?

          • kled23

nope, salafis are more or less against the 4 schools of thought and make it an open game, which is why jihadists , ISIS shoots out of salafism coz they have no basis, they can easily become misguided coz they take hadiths out of context and take apparent meanings far from the constructed meaning which is shaped by the situation and context of the time an action was done or something was said by prophet Muhammad. The Salafis though that takes its most of its queue from hanbali school are somewhat sensible.

There is no compulsion in religion is sometime referred by few muslim scholars of this time as applicable to the muslims among themselves but the idea of death for apostasy is supported by all the four schools, this verse(compulsion in religion) definitely doesn’t apply to muslims in this regard.

          • Natasha Gulparrie

Do not Muslims believe that God is everywhere. Closer than the jugular vein, in a manner of speaking.

The Christian God seems to be modeled on Man not the other way around. In fact designed on the Egyptian, Babylonian and Hindu Mythology. They are all Trinitarians.

          • Tasiu Yusuf

Meaning his knowledge is very where. But God is above his creation. Above the seven heavens.

          • kled23

No that is not true, that is called Mujassima creed or theology that God is everywhere which is not accepted by muslims, the creed that is accepted is called Ashari creed that is discussed only among scholars and not by layman that the presence of God is in all of space as he is not bound by time and space, and his being is felt in all places, u literally don’t take a stone and say God is everywhere and in the stone and so i worship it or God is inside me, so others worship me etc, And also Quran says Allah is the light of heavens and Earth, light can also be described as energy, so God or creator is the energy by which all of creation continues to exist and run, So the energy or presence of God is in all his creation.

The other accepted creed is Athari creed which believes God is exclusive above 7 heavens and the interpretation of his presence being felt in all places is subject to debate. And also God has attributes literally like legs, hands, face etc which are unlike any of creation.
In any case Ashari creed relies heavily on interpretation and Athari heavily on literalism, In any case these are scholarly discussions.

Belief of the layman is simple, oneoness of God, hereafter, proper belief system etc and little bit of belief that God is above all his Creation him being above 7 heavens etc.

The concern of muslim scholars and their refutations of raw greek, persian, atheism and other foreign philosophies has helped the islamic orthodoxy prevail to this day, a factor which easily crumbled Traditional or orthodox Christianity.

Any case if u study the islamic creed or Aqeedah, ull see its a vast field and very much dealing with logical aspects and questions and doubts regarding Creator. It’s a big subject.

          • Just Saying

why do muslims kiss the black rock?

          • kled23

Coz it is a command from God to do so and if there is a crowd, u can just wave ur hand to it, silly question really.

          • Just Saying

I thought the black rock was worshipped by the pre-Islamic pagans. you that god is not in a stone, so the black stone popped into my mind. are you sure it is not bidah to kiss the black stone? it is not in the Koran.

          • kled23

U seem to be confused with bida or innovation as well, bida is some practice that is considered part of religion that prophet Muhammad and his companions never did.

          • Just Saying

right, I know what bidah is. I’ve seen some muslims say that the hadith of Muhammad kissing the black rock is weak and unauthentic. didn’t one of the khalifas try to destroy the black rock 100s of yes ago?

          • kled23

incidents of hajj by prophet Muhammad is witnessed by thousands of companions, all schools of thought are in unison regardng the black rock, i don’t know where u seem to get the notion that muslim doubt kissing the black rock, that is a wrong idea, and i don’t know of incident where one of caliph tried to destroy black rock, but if he contemplate it, that’s a wrong to do so and caliphs are not guided, infact throughout history there was clash between the caliphs and the religious community coz the caliphate would fail to implement islam properly, there were caliphs that were good and noble and others that were evil, corrupt and luxurious.

          • Jeff

Mirgan- you are ignioant about Islam. Muslims worship one God nio Muhammad but Christians falsely claimed Jesus is god

          • Hannatu Adamu

            It’s the opposite!

          • Ali Ahmed Khan

now you are lying ,is nt it? We Worship Allah the creator fo heaven and earth . Mohammed peace be with him was a messenger.

          • Natasha Gulparrie

Muslims do NOT worship anything anyone other the One God, Almighty Creator of the Universe.

To worship or pray to Prophet MuhammadPBUH would be idolatry. The one and only unforgivable sin in Islam. Muhammad was only a messenger like others before him. No different. All this is in the Qur’an.

Christian worship The Father, The son, The Holy Ghost = Trinity. The Christian God impregnated his mother and was born of a human woman, The Mother of God. All this is in the Holy Bible.

          • kled23

what a big fat joke, Muslims never worship prophet Muhammad, we are forbidden to even invoke him, we revere him coz he is our prophet and representative of God’s message on Earth, u won’t have angels coming to ppl to guide them, it’s the ppl who are chosen as messengers. To obey the prophet is like obeying God coz God’s message was conveyed by him thru Gabriel, if had he changed God’s revelation, he would’ve been punished, if any prophets prior did it, they would’ve been as well.

When u say christians worship One God and creator implying there is no trinity, its maybe ur jewish or christian denomination who don’t believe in Trinity, or u didn’t go to church for long time.

          • kled23

Lot was a prophet, if christians don’t believe it, then it is a correction for them from the Quran, that Lot was a prophet to his ppl, like prophet Muhammad is to his ppl.

          • Just Saying

did lot have sex with his daughters?

          • kled23

Never, this is a christian slander on a prophet, just like they slander prophet David who according to islam was the best in prayers, best in fasts, best in worship etc.

          • Just Saying

how is David slandered, the incident with Bathsheba?

          • kled23

yup, he committed murder of his general to have relationship with the wife.

          • Just Saying

are you saying that is the slander? or he actually did that?

          • kled23

I think even though ur atheist, u have better knowledge of judeo christian ideology, u tell me if it is not murder to kill ur General to have relationship wit his wife. and how thee incident shapes out in the old testament.

          • Just Saying

well I went to 12 years of catholic school. yes it was murder. I was wondering what slander you were talking about? and moses was a murderer too according to the old testament (numbers 31)prophets continue to disappoint. 😉

          • Just Saying

so when Jonah disobeyed allah and did fulfill his mission, that wasn’t a sin? why did allah make a storm and make the lots case three times to have him thrown overboard? and of course the whale.

          • kled23

That is a simple trick u play on the ignorant mass, According to u Jesus didn’t come with a new law but to confirm the old law, and such there are hardly any new commandments in the new testament, all the laws are in the old testament, So if u cancel the old law, u have no law, The difference between old and new testament is clear, torah was revealed to Moses consists of genisis, leviticus , deutronomy etc add to that all the other revelations of other prophets like psalm, iseah, izikiel etc u get old testament, starting from Gospel of Mark to Luke add letters of paul, corintians, book of revelation etc u get the new testament.Pls ppl can understand and not fooled

          • nietzsche55

first and foremost, the old testament was not given to Moses as it was penned by the Pharisee class of Hebrew society. 60% of the new testament was written by Paul the apostle, a man who never met The Christ, and was a member of the Pharisee class who executed Jesus. The new testament also has many discrepancies through time as things were added and changed within the translations. Look up comparisons of the dead sea scrolls to the current KJV Bible (only because it is the most used version). the Bible and old testament were compiled many years after the time of the prophets and some even hundreds of years. The Bible is like a forged book of sunnah in islam, which the sunnah in itself has many many issues. To this day the only surviving text for the word of god is the Quran, as proven by the manuscript found from the time of the prophet, and everything else is arbitrary.

          • Carolyn

I am Muslim, but I’d like to point out that the KJV is riddled with inaccuracies, no less because King James himself edited parts of it. The most accurate Bible, as researched extensively by Biblical scholars, is the New International Version, so that is the best one to read.

          • Jeff

That’s the problem with Christians why have a new bible when the old bible was working fine ,the old bible was written by people whom was with jesus, the new testament was written by four so called saint mark, matthew, paul and john who never met jesus, a lot Christian won’t be Christian if you to follow the old testament

          • True Christian

Jesus was nt on earth at d tym of d old testament prophets wrote d old testament. While d new was writen by mathew mark john e.t.c they ar d desciples that followed Jesus. So u got it wrng my Brother

          • Just Saying

paul didn’t write a testament. Mathew, mark, luke and john. paul wrote a bunch of letters. it is kind of like the hadiths. weren’t they written 200 years after Muhammad died?

          • Azfar

            Listen to Jesus (pbuh)

            Matthew 5:17
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Why don’t you take your Old Testament seriously then?

Yes, your scripture is confusing. Need prove? Explain Trinity in a logical sense. Explain why Jesus (pbuh) is God? Yes believe he is a Prophet of God with a Miraculous birth. If you’re thinking He is a God simply because he was Born and Created without a Father it is silly because that will make Adam (pbuh) a greater God because he has no parents at all.

The messages in Islam are all Simple, Logical and Easy to understand. Example: in Surah Number 112 there are only 4 Clear and Powerful Verse.

            Quran 112:1- 4
            (Translations of the meaning)

            112:1
Say, “He is Allah , [who is] One,

            112:2
            Allah , the Eternal Refuge.

            112:3
He neither begets nor is born,

            112:4
Nor is there to Him any equivalent.”

Trust us, We love you. We want our Brothers and Sisters in Humanity to know the Truth and Save them from the Biggest Sin in The World, which is Associating Partners with our Creator.

Quran is the final Revelation sent by our Creator. Our Lord swears to protect the Last Revelation himself (Quran 15:9).

Set Pure intention, seek Refuge from Our Creator againts Satan’s whisper and Read it.

            May you Find Peace. =)

          • Carol Kouss

I have read both the Bible and the Quran. The Quran is very confusing, illogical and hard to understand. Unlike the Bible, the events are not in chronological order which is one of the many reasons it is confusing. It also repeats some of the events. The main purpose of the Quran was not to complete the Bible, but to refute it. Why would God send down something incomplete? Makes no sense.

          • Carolyn

Actually, the Qur’an was sent down to clarify the previous scriptures. Muhammad himself (pbuh) had the greatest respect for both Judaism and Christianity.

          • Carol Kouss

Sorry I disagree. Think about it for a minute. Why would the perfect God send something that needed “clarifying” as you say? I think God is perfectly capable of sending a complete book, not something in sequels. In fact, it states in the Quran to Muhammad to judge by the gospels and that they were true. The actually fact is that the Quran was created to refute the Bible, not to clarify it.

          • Hannatu Adamu

You say this because you do not consider the fact that the bible as you know it today is not the real bible that came with jesus: it has been changed. And why won’t that be when those who wrote the Bible never met jesus christ and only reported what those who had met him had to say. The earliest of them wrote 40 years after Jesus, true or false?

          • Carol Kouss

Hannatu, that is simply not true. The Bible today is the same Bible that existed at the time of Jesus. This business of the Bible being changed is a common argument used by muslims because the Quran contradicts the Bible when it comes to Jesus. What many Muslims don’t even realize is that the Quran in many different suras, says that the Bible is the true word of God, is reliable and remains unchanged. So if the Quran stated this at the time of Muhammad, and the Quran is the literal word of God as believed by muslims, and this is the book that Muslims follow, then it is not possible that the Bible was changed.

          • Ali Ahmed Khan

are you poeple with no knowledge bible was in hebrew at jesus time.

          • Hannatu Adamu

NO. The bible today is NOT the same that existed at the time of Jesus. Your bible scholars agree that the writers of the bible never met Jesus. why do YOU disagree with a well-known fact?

The qur’an tells muslims to believe in the prohethood of Jesus and that the bible was sent to him as a true word of God but tells us that the book TODAY paraded as the bible is not the same one the qur’an tells us to believe in because it has been changed. (see Q5:14 & 15 for example). The clear contradictions regarding the status of Jesus in the bible and the qur’an is enough to confirm that. That is why God sent the Qur’an, a book He Himself has vowed can never be altered by man.

I still want you to address my argument that the writers of the bible never met Jesus and that the earliest of them wrote 40 years after Jesus and never met him!

          • Tasiu Yusuf

Matthew5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

          • Ali Ahmed Khan

Quran also states that we have sealed the heart due to their ignorance , so they cannot see truth .

          • MJ Pete

            Carolyn, you are a liar:

Quran (9:29) – “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” “People of the Book” refers to Christians and Jews. According to this verse, they are to be violently subjugated, with the sole justification being their religious status. Verse 9:33 tells Muslims that Allah has charted them to make Islam “superior over all religions.” This chapter was one of the final “revelations” from Allah and it set in motion the tenacious military expansion, in which Muhammad’s companions managed to conquer two-thirds of the Christian world in the next 100 years. Islam is intended to dominate all other people and faiths.

Quran (9:30) – “And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!”

Quran (33:60-62) – “If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the alarmists in the city do not cease, We verily shall urge thee on against them, then they will be your neighbors in it but a little while. Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter.” This passage sanctions the slaughter (rendered “merciless” and “horrible murder” in other translations) against three groups: Hypocrites (Muslims who refuse to “fight in the way of Allah” (3:167) and hence don’t act as Muslims should), those with “diseased hearts” (which include Jews and Christians 5:51-52), and “alarmists” or “agitators who include those who merely speak out against Islam, according to Muhammad’s biographers. It is worth noting that the victims are to be sought out by Muslims, which is what today’s terrorists do. If this passage is meant merely to apply to the city of Medina, then it is unclear why it is included in Allah’s eternal word to Muslim generations.

          • Carolyn

You are misinformed. You cannot just quote random passages from the Qur’an without context – you actually need to know how to interpret it. Kind of like the Bible.

          • Hannatu Adamu

In the first place, the People of the Book changed the books that came to them and became blasphemers. If they had believed in their own scriptures and the messages of the prophets that brought them, they would not have denied the prophethood of Muhammad (pbuh). It is also important for you to interpret those verses against the backdrop of the events occurring at the time. If we put the same interpretations on the Bible, you would ask a lot of questions!

          • Tasiu Yusuf

Jesus Christ also testify to that in the book of Luke19:27

But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

          • Tasiu Yusuf

You can not understood the Qur’an by yourself, except through the explanation of the prophet, why because he is the one the received the Qur’an

          • Butoh Sareth

The Quran says God is one and only . but the bible says God is one but in 3 persons . for me i found the bibleconfusing

          • Carol Kouss

Butoh, you are one person, but you are also the son of someone, and maybe the father and brother of someone. Does that make you 3 separate people?

          • Ali Ahmed Khan

Thinigs which come into existence is called creation , God is not a creation.

          • Ali Ahmed Khan

            Your Beleive 1+1+1=1
            My Beleive 1= 1
now only a dumb person with no knowledge about anything can say that your beleived is right.

          • Hannatu Adamu

quote one verse of the bible that says a Christian man shall have only one wife.

          • Hannatu Adamu

That in the beginning, human life on earth started with a
male and female was essential because those two started the human race. It does
not translate into a trend for ever that there must be only one male and one
female per household. And it does not mean that where there are two females for
one male, it would be an anomaly. Are you saying that the prophets of old,
including Solomon, Abraham and Moses, all knowing that “from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and
female” still went ahead to have extra wives? Of course not. You and I both
know that “Men of God” would not openly and deliberately break His laws. These
people were messengers of God and His guidance during their times and so could not
have deliberately broken his laws and lived without being chastised. They were
the example. If what they did was wrong, don’t you think God would have
replaced them immediately with others who would have come to tell of the wrong
            they’d committed?

            Remember what Jesus said:

            Matthew 5:17

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have
not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

            And here I ask again,
if the Old Testament is no longer a law to be followed and its prophets no
longer to be respected, why do you still read it as “the Bible”?

For the record, Polygamy in Islam is not mandatory: it is simply a
permissible practice and it is warned that if one cannot do justice, one wife
is best to prevent injustice. [Q4:3]

Can you please tell me where bible as been called bible inside your bible, where jesus as you people to go to church on sunday ….. who evem name Christianity jesus never author anything like Christianity in the bible ….please wake up

          • Lamin Sanyang

In the name of Allah, peace be upon all the followers of the true Abrahamic faith (the oneness of ALLAH).

it’s a pity Christians do not expect themselves nor their pastors or priests to commit some shameless atrocities and yet they expect it from the chosen messengers of the almighty, do u consider yourselves purer than them!, or are you wrongfully accusing them?

          • Natasha Gulparrie

Jesus believed in the Torah. Came to uphold The Law of Moses not to change it.. He said so in the Bible.

Paul was only a self anointed apostle. A contradiction in terms. Paul abrogated the teachings of Jesus. Read it in his letters which is the major part of the NT.

In fact modern Christians are Pauline Flock. Not of Jesus, whom he had rejected.

          • Tasiu Yusuf

            But jesus Chris said

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

          • Jeff

Brother- the Bible is made of OT and NT- you are half a True Christian if you ignore teachings of the OT

          • Human Peace

REally? Then what punishment god given to Prophet Abraham (PBUH) for having two wives? So, jesus (pbuh) never followed abraham? what about this bibilical statement “Jesus (pbuh) followed the law and believed in all the prophets, (see Matthew 5:17)”. ??

        • Just Saying

Christians know this. they just think that jesus abrogated that law. so let me ask you. if Solomon is a prophet in islalm, was he not breaking Islamic law that limits the number of wives to 4?

      • tanits ring

That’s because there is still evidence of sex slavery in the Islamic world in the 21st century. Whereas there is no slavery in the western/secular world

        • kled23

          sex slavery? ??

      • Just Saying

isn’t this proof that both religions are bad? or rather all three abrahamics.

        • kled23

No it’s not, muslims are to believe that islam is the only religion acceptable to God and whoever after knowing about it desires something other than islam will not be accepted from him, those muslims who don’t have this belief actually denies verses of Quran and commits act of desbelief,

the example of those who denies prophet Muhammd is the likes of Jews who denied Jesus when he came to them with clear proofs and miracles and they blasphemed on him and accused him of evil. When a prophet comes to a ppl, it is mandatory on them to accept him and his message. Just like it was for jews to accept Jesus as their messenger.

Concubinage doesn’t disprove that there is no creator, and concubinage is not putting women in prostitution, and also it is not mandatory in islam to revive slavery, infact islam got slavery in its track and regulated it, not introduce or abolish it.

There are just 2 abrahamic religions, judaism has at max 20 mil ppl even if we take the extended and loose affiliations. Christianity and Islam makes up almost 50% of population and thus two major religions, Christianity which by the way introduced new theology that was never known by men prior to it, nor by Children of Israel or the ones before them.

          • Just Saying

yes, there aren’t very many Jews in the world. their religion still comes from the same linage as Christianity and Islam. yes, concubines aren’t prostitutes, that is why there are two different words.
so your all powerful god couldn’t end slavery? why with all these prophets was it introduced to begin with. why not make it haram with Adam? Noah? Abraham? Moses?

          • kled23

If u mean Abraham, then yes, it has same lineage but we don’t believe the followers of prev prophets to be jews and christians, these terms came out later jew from tribes of judea or a land called judea, and christian much later after Jesus’s death, the ones who followed the prophets in the correct way were technically muslims as in they submitted to the will of God, not them being follower of prophet Muhammad etc,

when u speak of Slavery, ur subjecting ur version of morality which is hardly couple of centuries to thousands and thousands of years of human existance, morality changes and human beings have no obligation to follow ur version of morality, what u think as moral, ill disagree with many of them, same way when slavery was permitted, it was proficient for its time, and we could also argue that some of us are so engulfed in our servitude to some companies or other work with no time for leisure and family that it can be technically defined as loose version of slavery,

God doesn’t need to change slavery or its status, it’s an open matter, he doesn’t compel slavery nor does he abolish it. It is dependent on the freewill of ppl, and going back to history, christian slavery is unlike islamic slavery, u can do a study on this matter if u like.

          • Just Saying

yes, of course I’m subjecting my morality. don’t you think that slavery is immoral? obviously you are saying that morality isn’t timeless. so god changes his mind as to what is moral? wouldn’t a timeless god have a timeless morality?

“he doesn’t compel slavery nor does he abolish it.” but he abolishes the consumption of pork. don’t you find that strange?

          • kled23

what u think is moral was not before 100 years, what u thought was immoral was different just few decades back, morality changes with time and place. I don’t know how any individual of this era can claim moral authority when thousands of innocent ppl die everyday and we do nothing about them but tap our keyboards to each other, we are the worse of ppl to judge and set moral hypocritical standards, which is applicable for ourselfs but don’t care when it happens to others,

Regarding God,concept or theology or creed stays the same, what changes slightly is the content of the law. God has allowed some discretion to humans to decide on their own wat they want and do and this is open area, there are some rules ppl gets all upset, imagine if there was rule for everything, and like i said, don’t see all slavery from christian pov, it was diff in diff places.

Lastly when u say he abolished pork but not slavery, it seems u want God to obey ur desires, God doesn’t do what we want, we try our best to obey God and his commandments. U know this life is temporary and islamic belief is this life is but a place to build the afterlife, and we try to work our ways thru means that God has provided us and not disobey him, and not despair, if whatever he revealed is tru or not, or if he exists or not will be evident when we pass away, but if he does exist and we reach him in a state of disbelief, there is no going back or second chance, and if he doesn’t exist and we just vanish from existence once dead, then muslims having nothing to lose, but if he does exist, then the ones who disbelieve have much to lose.

          • Just Saying

lol. yes everyone knows the strategy of; “best to believe in a god and there not be one, then not to believe and there be one.” and yes, I know all abut the one unforgivable sin, shirk. I want your god to be logical. and you too.
so you say god doesn’t want to outlaw everything, but he chooses to outlaw pork before slavery. lmfao. I don’t care if abu bakr wore the same clothes and ate the same food as his slaves, slavery is immoral.
how am I a hypocrite? I’ve never enslaved anyone. I say slavery is immoral, you and your god say it is not.

          • kled23

ok, when did i say God outlawed slavery before pork, God never forbid slavery, but simply put restrictions to their exploitation and regulated it, but never made it persistent or mandatory to implement , but an open matter for ppl to decide how they want to regulate themselves,

IM sure u don’t think fornication or usury is immoral while i do, no one is bound to ur version of morality. If God existed he did exist before the first cell gained consciousness, and if not, then everyone will vanish from existence.

          • Just Saying

I didn’t say you said god outlawed slavery before pork. I said the opposite, that god outlawed pork and didn’t, as of yet, and considering you claim Muhammad to be the last prophet, he never will, outlaw slavery. you missed the point totally. you keep saying god regulated slavery and it is up to us to decide. what I’m saying is that it should be obvious that outlawing slavery is more important than outlawing pork.

if your god isn’t all about laws, why outlaw pork? and you are saying that god left it as “an open matter for ppl to decide how they want to regulate themselves”. yet he commands the fornicator to be lashed 100 times and outlaws lending money at interest. lol.

          • kled23

I think ur getting badly confused, slavery has been deemed unnecessary and thus has been deemed prohibited by the concensus of scholars, concensus of scholars in open matters is the ruling of God in islam, currently slavery is disallowed in islam, if in future scholars gather back together and decide to revive it, it will be allowed again. And if u don’t know, the only way slaves are taken are thru wars in which after exchange of prisoners, ransoming etc, the leftover prisoners are eligable to be taken as slaves, it is not open biz where ppl are taken into slavery etc,all its means has been closed except one. But we can have that discussion when slavery is allowed again.

I told u previously about things being an open matter and upto ppl to decide, others are foundation of the Quran and clearly obligated or clearly prohibited and don’t change time and place, slavery is an open matter , pork is not, pork has been forbidden for children of israel before us as it is forbidden to us, it was from the beginning, fornicator are lashed 100 times if u have 4 pious male witnesses who witnessed the penetration first hand, and this is in presence of an islam state, yes it has been decided by God and so has usury, but in the west some scholars allow its usage in matters of housing which is a necessity and its the only option to buy a house.

Islam is not all rigid, based on necessity, things become allowed but it has to be pure necessity, there are matters which are eshtablished and things that are open. And sometimes things which are eshtablished as forbidden becomes allowed, for example if pork is the only meat and no other option as in a jungle etc , then pork becomes allowed just to suffice the hunger how much is needed to survive, not have a banquet out of it. And this analogy of pork is even mentioned in Quran.

          • Just Saying

yes I know that in islam you take slaves as war booty.

yes I know pork is allowed if it is the only option. 5:3….But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin – then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

you continue to miss the point. you don’t need to tell me what islam is, I know. although I’ve never heard anyone say, “concensus of scholars in open matters is the ruling of God in islam”. but I will believe you and add this to the column of flaws in islam.
my point is that slavery is much worse than eating pork. that should be obvious to a blind man. why would an all-knowing god leave slavery up to people to decide while forbidding pork or even fornication.

          • kled23

Slavery seems bad to the blind man of this era but killing millions to promote democracy seems totally fine by many, this is the worse of generations, u just seem to think our gen is most ideal and civilized and the ones prior are misguided, if u look at the injustice, discrimination, ineligible killings, hypocrisy and blind eye to deaths to other ppl but jump in contentment when one of our own dies etc. U will easily oppose slavery but u will accept killings, oops did i say killings, collateral damage was the word used all the time, never knew collateral damage is tens or hundreds fold the real target.

Morality is a created thing just like humans, its flexible and changes with time and place, if u were born 200 years back, u would never be having this convo with me, and if i presented ur future self to ur being 200 years back, u would call ur self in the future a fool and distraught person,

slavery has not been established in islam, but forbidding pork and fornication is, We listen and we obey, the ones who were asking too many question to God were they children of Israel and they were cursed and made to wander around in lands for centuries.

          • Just Saying

whoever says killing millions to promote democracy are wrong.
yes I understand your argument that morality changes with the times. you don’t have to keep repeating that. and yes, islam didn’t start slavery, you don’t have to deep saying that.
again the question isn’t about human morality, but the morality of your god. why wouldn’t an all-know, merciful god outlaw slavery with adam? Abraham? moses, Solomon, jesus or Muhammad?

          • kled23

Somehow ur implying it is my God as in he created me and not u and thus it’s my God and not ur God when u keep repeating ur God to me, if God exists, he’s the creator of all humanity, and he’s the creator of morality, the sense of morality that we have now is shaped by him for us to be possible to have and feel it, as it was for those 200 years back,

if u look at animal kingdom, incest is commonplace, they have another kind of morality diff from our perception of morality, morality differs even among diff creatures, It’s foolish to question someone of morality when he created morality in the first place.

          • Just Saying

yes if there is a creator, it would be my creator as well as yours, unless of course there are multiple creators. but alas there is none. but let’s say for argument’s sake there is a GOD. it makes no sense to reveal his morality in such a piecemeal fashion.

[33.61] Cursed: wherever they are found they shall be seized and murdered, a (horrible) murdering.

almost all of it. the slamming the door shut in 36.

            The Koran

            The Clans

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
            [33.1] O Prophet! be careful of (your duty to) Allah and do not comply with (the wishes of) the unbelievers and the hypocrites; surely Allah is Knowing, Wise;
            [33.2] And follow what is revealed to you from your Lord; surely Allah is Aware of what you do;
[33.3] And rely on Allah; and Allah is sufficient for a Protector.
[33.4] Allah has not made for any man two hearts within him; nor has He made your wives whose backs you liken to the backs of your mothers as your mothers, nor has He made those whom you assert to be your sons your real sons; these are the words of your mouths; and Allah speaks the truth and He guides to the way.
[33.5] Assert their relationship to their fathers; this is more equitable with Allah; but if you do not know their fathers, then they are your brethren in faith and your friends; and there is no blame on you concerning that in which you made a mistake, but (concerning) that which your hearts do purposely (blame may rest on you), and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
[33.6] The Prophet has a greater claim on the faithful than they have on themselves, and his wives are (as) their mothers; and the possessors of relationship have the better claim in the ordinance of Allah to inheritance, one with respect to another, than (other) believers, and (than) those who have fled (their homes), except that you do some good to your friends; this is written in the Book.
[33.7] And when We made a covenant with the prophets and with you, and with Nuh and Ibrahim and Musa and Isa, son of Marium, and We made with them a strong covenant
[33.8] That He may question the truthful of their truth, and He has prepared for the unbelievers a painful punishment.
[33.9] O you who believe! call to mind the favor of Allah to you when there came down upon you hosts, so We sent against them a strong wind and hosts, that you saw not, and Allah is Seeing what you do.
[33.10] When they came upon you from above you and from below you, and when the eyes turned dull, and the hearts rose up to the throats, and you began to think diverse thoughts of Allah.
[33.11] There the believers were tried and they were shaken with severe shaking.
[33.12] And when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was a disease began to say: Allah and His Apostle did not promise us (victory) but only to deceive.
[33.13] And when a party of them said: O people of Yasrib! there IS no place to stand for you (here), therefore go back; and a party of them asked permission of the prophet, saying. Surely our houses are exposed; and they were not exposed; they only desired to fly away.
[33.14] And if an entry were made upon them from the outlying parts of it, then they were asked to wage war, they would certainly have done it, and they would not have stayed in it but a little while.
[33.15] And certainly they had made a covenant with Allah before, that) they would not turn (their) backs; and Allah’s covenant shall be inquired of.
[33.16] Say: Flight shall not do you any good if you fly from death or slaughter, and in that case you will not be allowed to enjoy yourselves but a little.
[33.17] Say: Who is it that can withhold you from Allah if He intends to do you evil, rather He intends to show you mercy? And they will not find for themselves besides Allah any guardian or a helper.
[33.18] Allah knows indeed those among you who hinder others and those who say to their brethren: Come to us; and they come not to the fight but a little,
[33.19] Being niggardly with respect to you; but when fear comes, you will see them looking to you, their eyes rolling like one swooning because of death; but when the fear is gone they smite you with sharp tongues, being niggardly of the good things. These have not believed, therefore Allah has made.their doing naught; and this is easy to Allah.
[33.20] They think the allies are not gone, and if the allies should come (again) they would fain be in the deserts with the desert Arabs asking for news about you, and if they were among you they would not fight save a little.
[33.21] Certainly you have in the Apostle of Allah an excellent exemplar for him who hopes in Allah and the latter day and remembers Allah much.
[33.22] And when the believers saw the allies, they said: This is what Allah and His Apostle promised us, and Allah and His Apostle spoke the truth; and it only increased them in faith and submission.
[33.23] Of the believers are men who are true to the covenant which they made with Allah: so of them is he who accomplished his vow, and of them is he who yet waits, and they have not changed in the least
[33.24] That Allah may reward the truthful for their truth, and punish the hypocrites if He please or turn to them (mercifully); surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
[33.25] And Allah turned back the unbelievers in their rage; they did not obtain any advantage, and Allah sufficed the believers in fighting; and Allah is Strong, Mighty.
[33.26] And He drove down those of the followers of the Book who backed them from their fortresses and He cast awe into their hearts; some you killed and you took captive another part.
[33.27] And He made you heirs to their land and their dwellings and their property, and (to) a land which you have not yet trodden, and Allah has power over all things.
[33.28] O Prophet! say to your wives: If you desire this world’s life and its adornment, then come, I will give you a provision and allow you to depart a goodly departing
[33.29] And if you desire Allah and His Apostle and the latter abode, then surely Allah has prepared for the doers of good among you a mighty reward.
[33.30] O wives of the prophet! whoever of you commits an open indecency, the punishment shall be increased to her doubly; and this IS easy to Allah.
[33.31] And whoever of you is obedient to Allah and His Apostle and does good, We will give to her her reward doubly, and We have prepared for her an honorable sustenance.
[33.32] O wives of the Prophet! you are not like any other of the women; If you will be on your guard, then be not soft in (your) speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease yearn; and speak a good word.
[33.33] And stay in your houses and do not display your finery like the displaying of the ignorance of yore; and keep up prayer, and pay the poor-rate, and obey Allah and His Apostle. Allah only desires to keep away the uncleanness from you, O people of the House! and to purify you a (thorough) purifying.
[33.34] And keep to mind what is recited in your houses of the communications of Allah and the wisdom; surely Allah is Knower of subtleties, Aware.
[33.35] Surely the men who submit and the women who submit, and the believing men and the believing women, and the obeying men and the obeying women, and the truthful men and the truthful women, and the patient men and the patient women and the humble men and the humble women, and the almsgiving men and the almsgiving women, and the fasting men and the fasting women, and the men who guard their private parts and the women who guard, and the men who remember Allah much and the women who remember– Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a mighty reward.
[33.36] And it behoves not a believing man and a believing woman that they should have any choice in their matter when Allah and His Apostle have decided a matter; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Apostle, he surely strays off a manifest straying.
[33.37] And when you said to him to whom Allah had shown favor and to whom you had shown a favor: Keep your wife to yourself and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; and you concealed in your soul what Allah would bring to light, and you feared men, and Allah had a greater right that you should fear Him. But when Zaid had accomplished his want of her, We gave her to you as a wife, so that there should be no difficulty for the believers in respect of the wives of their adopted sons, when they have accomplished their want of them; and Allah’s command shall be performed.
[33.38] There is no harm in the Prophet doing that which Allah has ordained for him; such has been the course of Allah with respect to those who have gone before; and the command of Allah is a decree that is made absolute:
[33.39] Those who deliver the messages of Allah and fear Him, and do not fear any one but Allah; and Allah is sufficient to take account.
[33.40] Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Apostle of Allah and the Last of the prophets; and Allah is cognizant of all things.
[33.41] O you who believe! remember Allah, remembering frequently,
[33.42] And glorify Him morning and evening.
[33.43] He it is Who sends His blessings on you, and (so do) His angels, that He may bring you forth out of utter darkness into the light; and He is Merciful to the believers.
[33.44] Their salutation on the day that they meet Him shall be, Peace, and He has prepared for them an honourable reward.
[33.45] O Prophet! surely We have sent you as a witness, and as a bearer of good news and as a warner,
[33.46] And as one inviting to Allah by His permission, and as a light-giving torch.
[33.47] And give to the believers the good news that they shall have a great grace from Allah.
[33.48] And be not compliant to the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and leave unregarded their annoying talk, and rely on Allah; and Allah is sufficient as a Protector.
[33.49] O you who believe! when you marry the believing women, then divorce them before you touch them, you have in their case no term which you should reckon; so make some provision for them and send them forth a goodly sending forth.
[33.50] O Prophet! surely We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as prisoners of war, and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts, and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who fled with you; and a believing woman if she gave herself to the Prophet, if the Prophet desired to marry her– specially for you, not for the (rest of) believers; We know what We have ordained for them concerning their wives and those whom their right hands possess in order that no blame may attach to you; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
[33.51] You may put off whom you please of them, and you may take to you whom you please, and whom you desire of those whom you had separated provisionally; no blame attaches to you; this is most proper, so that their eyes may be cool and they may not grieve, and that they should be pleased, all of them with what you give them, and Allah knows what is in your hearts; and Allah is Knowing, Forbearing.
[33.52] It is not allowed to you to take women afterwards, nor that you should change them for other wives, though their beauty be pleasing to you, except what your right hand possesses and Allah is Watchful over all things.
[33.53] O you who believe! do not enter the houses of the Prophet unless permission is given to you for a meal, not waiting for its cooking being finished– but when you are invited, enter, and when you have taken the food, then disperse– not seeking to listen to talk; surely this gives the Prophet trouble, but he forbears from you, and Allah does not forbear from the truth And when you ask of them any goods, ask of them from behind a curtain; this is purer for your hearts and (for) their hearts; and it does not behove you that you should give trouble to the Apostle of Allah, nor that you should marry his wives after him ever; surely this is grievous in the sight of Allah.
[33.54] If you do a thing openly or do it in secret, then surely Allah is Cognizant of all things.
[33.55] There is no blame on them in respect of their fathers, nor their brothers, nor their brothers’ sons, nor their sisters’ sons nor their own women, nor of what their right hands possess; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is a witness of all things.
[33.56] Surely Allah and His angels bless the Prophet; O you who believe! call for (Divine) blessings on him and salute him with a (becoming) salutation.
[33.57] Surely (as for) those who speak evil things of Allah and His Apostle, Allah has cursed them in this world and the here after, and He has prepared for them a chastisement bringing disgrace.
[33.58] And those who speak evil things of the believing men and the believing women without their having earned (it), they are guilty indeed of a false accusation and a manifest sin.
[33.59] O Prophet! say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they let down upon them their over-garments; this will be more proper, that they may be known, and thus they will not be given trouble; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
            [33.60] If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease and the agitators in the city do not desist, We shall most certainly set you over them, then they shall not be your neighbors in it but for a little while;
[33.61] Cursed: wherever they are found they shall be seized and murdered, a (horrible) murdering.
[33.62] (Such has been) the course of Allah with respect to those who have gone before; and you shall not find any change in the course of Allah.
[33.63] Men ask you about the hour; say: The knowledge of it is only with Allah, and what will make you comprehend that the : hour may be nigh.
[33.64] Surely Allah has cursed the unbelievers and has prepared for them a burning fire,
[33.65] To abide therein for a long time; they shall not find a protector or a helper.
[33.66] On the day when their faces shall be turned back into the fire, they shall say: O would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Apostle!
            [33.67] And they shall say: O our Lord! surely we obeyed our leaders and our great men, so they led us astray from the path;
[33.68] O our Lord! give them a double punishment and curse them with a great curse.
[33.69] O you who believe! be not like those who spoke evil things of Musa, but Allah cleared him of what they said, and he was worthy of regard with Allah.
[33.70] O you who believe! be careful of(your duty to) Allah and speak the right word,
[33.71] He will put your deeds into a right state for you, and forgive you your faults; and whoever obeys Allah and His Apostle, he indeed achieves a mighty success.
            [33.72] Surely We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to be unfaithful to it and feared from it, and man has turned unfaithful to it; surely he is unjust, ignorant;
[33.73] So Allah will chastise the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women and the polytheistic men and the polytheistic women, and Allah will turn (mercifully) to the believing women, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Interesting surah indeed, For the hypocrites and whose heart is disease like that of adultery if they don’t stop spreading false rumors in the city of Medina, then Allah will make the Muslims overpower them and if they don’t desist , cause them to be killed at the hands of muslim, verse 60-61, and this is a warning, and the context is battle of ahzab, i don’t understand where do u find verses of punishment of apostasy in it, the rulings regarding apostasy are almost entirely taken from hadiths.

          • Just Saying

I’ve been told by muslims that my heart is diseased.

the battle of ahzab? i’ll have to google that one, I’ve only studied the battles of badr, uhud and trench so far.

“i don’t understand where do u find verses of punishment of apostasy in it” didn’t you quote 36 in your comment about death to apostates?

            kled23 2 days ago

          • kled23

That verse is not for apostatizing, its for muslims in general to follow the Quran/sunnah and whoever goes against it strays into the wrong path, not kill apostates as u thought.

          • Just Saying

ok. now I’m confused. so do you think you should kill an apostate?

          • kled23

Yup i think i confused u, the idea of apostate being killed is not from Quran but from hadiths, but like i told u earlier, it’s an almost impossible rule to implement coz of much technicalities, its a deterrent at best and an efficient rule for stopping ppl to publicly call others to apostatizing, what they do in their private life is protected and espionage is forbidden in islam, but if they call others to leave islam or publicly declare themselves to have left islam, that could be unacceptable based on what the scholars decide on that matter.Do I support islamic law, definitely … Do i think ppl who calls others to apostasy and then persists in their disbelief should be killed in a caliphate, if the scholars agree on it, then i won’t oppose it, and if they disagree on it, i won’t oppose either. Can this ruling change, there can be some room but we don’t have the context to test the waters, if it ever comes to that, i’ll let u know.

dude, you should run for president. you remind me of Clinton saying that: ‘it depends on what your definition of is is’.

I linked the wiki page on her. that held this up in moderation:

over there? aren’t you in Nigeria?

a woman in the sudan was married to a Christian, had one or two kids with him and was pregnant again. her brother turned her in to the government on the charge of apostasy. her father was a muslim and they said she was therefore a muslim. so they charged her and sentenced her to death by hanging. international pressure was brought to bare and they let her go.

no link this time, just google, ‘Sudanese woman sentenced to death for being Christian’.

..it doenst make no difference…bible was there before qur’an almost 600 years before. You can make youself happy by the alteration that was made from the bible for qur’an. Paul the former Saul was given the power by Jesus to teach to the nations (Gentiles) and ofcourse Jesus came to fullfill the Law of moses and and Paul repeated the said also. We dont need to look for proof of what is not right through famous people. Be blessed bro.

Mohammed unlike Jesus Christ was not a good and positive role model. When we compare the lifestyle and teachings of the two, Mohammed is falls short of expectation. If the two of them were not to be religious figures , no one in his right senses would want to follow Mohammed because of his bloody lifestyle. One preached love and forgiveness and said not to retaliate but to turn the other cheek, the other mouthed peace but had too much blood on his hands all in the name of defending his faith. One is a Jew from the line of Abraham -Isaac and Jacob the promised and chosen people of God, the other was a descendant of Ishmael the illegitimate child of Sarah’s house help Hagar the Egyptian. Mohammed pirated the Old testament and added a few of his delusional trance inspired teachings to make his Satanic book. Most of Mohammed’s teachings came during the times he went into trance,I pity those who follow the teachings of Mohammed because if will be too late for them when they end up where the man is.

Unfortunately not everyone would be of sound mind to understand and be at peace with whoever’s choice of religion, but when ignorance is taken to such level which is demeaning pity is the only thing that embodies one. Please do proper research which will enlighten you not deem you incompetent mentally and try not to speak before u think as it is obviously not good for ones growth. Ignorance my friend is bliss and i would hate for you to further indulge yourself in it for it would only bring you detriment. Peace be upon you and may you see the light In sha Allah. Amin

Assalamu Alaikum to you all. Islam is a religion of peace. one thing is also certain. before, there was no first or second testimony in the Bible. It was only one Bible with no difference. And in the then bible, it stated not only about Jesus (Essa Alaihi Salatu Wassalam), but it also talked about Prophet Muhammad (P.B.H),and his Book, the Qur’an, but now you only here about testimonies in the Holly Bible. in the Qur’an its only one, no 1st or 2nd testimony. Since it was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.H) by Angel (Gibrill Alaihi Salatu Wasalam), one could not add or subtract a single later, not to talk of a ward or sentence. This shows you the uniqueness of the Holly Book. I am a Muslim, (Alhamdu Lillah) and we Muslims believe in the Qur, an, the Bible, Injil, Zaburr among others, which stated about Islam and Prophet Muhammad (P.B.H). Please, any doubt one might have, please ask the scholars or try to read the Qu’ran and the Hadiths. May Allah guide us all to the right path Ameen….
          ..

How can i shut up when am only Writing am not TALKING….if u got any idea how a person can shut up when not talking then let me know..

    • Ali

Hey, don’t go online and insult people and their religion. You can express your opinion freely but with calm n respect for the other human being; in fact muslims are encouraged to open up to criticisms and questions about the Quran and Islam. That way non belivers get to grab the opportunity to clarify doubts and gain knowledge of Allah! You know anger is not a characteristic of a believing muslim.
The first Quranic verses revealed instructs mankind to seek knowledge of what he knew not- Allah! My friend, read the Quran in any language translation you re comfortable with and you will find the truth you have never known. And until you do that, don’t post crap that you re not clear about! I have a bible in my possession and i ve read numerous versions of the bible. So how much do you know about the bible? if it’s your book of reference, i can teach you about the bible because you seem to know not of what’s in it.

    • Cheree Opasik

Who knows what Jesus Christs life was really like. We have no idea about the majority of his life. And many people question his marital life and other aspects of his life. But due the the many changes that have been made to the bible we just will never know.

      • Supo

You’re ignorant and your ignorance has become terminal. If you really want to know about Jesus, pray to Him to open your mind and then go in search of Him.

        • Furgen Plak

In stead. Why don’t you tell us where we can find his story. Help us on our way, would you.

          • Supo

First you need to free and open your mind. It’s closed and at the level you are only God can help you. It’s beyond me. Sorry pal.

          • Furgen Plak

So what you are actualy dating is that i should have blind faith. Am i wrong?

          • Supo

Where you’re concerned you have no faith at all, in anything…blind or not. Your mind is dead to things spiritual.

          • Furgen Plak

Why? Because i ask questions? Why can’t you just answer a simpel question thruthfully? Is it because you are using your blind faith to hide your ignorance?

          • Supo

I can pick your type out in a crowd. So easy to spot. You’re not interested in any answer to a “simple question”. You’re seeking validation for your preconceived and warped opinion about the Christian faith. I’m not going to wallow in the gutter with you….uhmhm. No way. Go and clean up your mind first. Enough already.

          • Furgen Plak

How very judgemental of you. I am as openminded a one can be. And a was very serious about that question. I do applaud your abbility to deflect questions that test your knowledge. This is something i have encountered with many christians. Most of them claiming to be knowledgeble. But, so be it.

          • Supo

Test my knowledge? How silly…man go get laid and buzz off. Your time is up.

        • Cheree Opasik

I’m ignorant? Yet you can’t actually refute what I wrote so your best response is to tell me to pray. Good one.

          • Supo

Oh! You actually thought you said anything? Funny guy. Open your mind and be free. Hate has taken hold. Pray bro…pray. He’s a merciful God, He’ll have mercy on your soul before you lose your mind.

    • Hannatu Adamu

yet many scientists (including dr. keith moore, maurice bucaille, etc) have come to the conclusion that, considering the state of science at the time of the revelation of the holy Qur’an, it is a most profound and great book unlike any other!

      • Hannatu Adamu

and just to add, they reached this conclusion while still being christians!

        • Supo

Nonsense. Your research needs a lot of work. Just go and tell Boko Haram to let peace reign in my country. Practice your religion the way you want and leave others alone to practice theirs. That’s the only way we can have peace.

          • Hannatu Adamu

Address the issue under discussion: don’t try to wriggle out of it. Better still, why don’t you do your own research and disprove what the distinguished scientists have found out about the Qur’an?

          • Supo

What is my business with what anyone has found out about the Quran? That’s your business because you’re Muslim. Good for you. I’m a Christian and I know what distinguished and highly accomplished scientists have confirmed about my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of my faith. So you keep to your faith and let me keep to mine. Kapish.

          • Hannatu Adamu

If it is not YOUR business, then why are you out here placing comments? Might as well go and mind your business and “keep to your faith”.

          • Supo

Oh! I see. The Internet belongs to you now and you get to determine who gets to make comments, abi? Take your Islamic fundamentalist arse out of her mate and do something more productive. May be get laid or something before you think you can Police the Internet.

          • Hannatu Adamu

I was under the mistaken belief that i was having a matured conversation with an adult. Now i know better. You’re not doing your Christian brothers any favour by addressing me in this manner!

          • Supo

Can you listen to yourself. I labelled you a fundamentalist and you confirmed it with your next comment. My Christian brothers? I wonder when I announced to you that I was speaking for any Christian brother. You’re pathetic. Quit deceiving yourself. No one appointed you the spokesman of Muslims on this platform. You only have some who subscribes to your misguided and ignorant views about Christianity. That’s all.

          • Adamantium_786

misguided and ignorant views hell no you Christians barely even study your bible

          • Just Saying

good thing the Christians barely study the bible. if they did, they would be a lot more like muslims.

Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: A Jew and a Jewess were brought to Allah’s Apostle on a charge of committing an illegal sexual intercourse. The Prophet asked them. “What is the legal punishment (for this sin) in your Book (Torah)?” They replied, “Our priests have innovated the punishment of blackening the faces with charcoal and Tajbiya.” ‘Abdullah bin Salam said, “O Allah’s Apostle, tell them to bring the Torah.” The Torah was brought, and then one of the Jews put his hand over the Divine Verse of the Rajam (stoning to death) and started reading what preceded and what followed it. On that, Ibn Salam said to the Jew, “Lift up your hand.” Behold! The Divine Verse of the Rajam was under his hand. So Allah’s Apostle ordered that the two (sinners) be stoned to death, and so they were stoned. Ibn ‘Umar added: So both of them were stoned at the Balat and I saw the Jew sheltering the Jewess.

    • Affan

The world before Muhammad was different than the world after him. If Osama hit Americas right cheek by hitting the twin tower, why didn’t you allow him to hit the left cheek after it? Why didn’t you just tolerated that? Only because you could be overwhelmed by your enemy right? Same is the case their. The non-Muslims of that time didn’t wanted the Prophet Muhammad PBUH to preach Islam so they tried their best to suppress Muhammad. Therefore he had to defend being wise.
And that letting somebody hit your left cheek after the right one is not applicable in todays world (That may be applicable before now) otherwise you’ll be dominated by your enemy. Be logical!

    • mozuka5129

What are your sources when you study Prophet Muhammad ( peace and blessings be upon him )?..

Jesus is a prophet in Islam and you will find Jesus also in the Quran.

  • Tasiu Yusuf

One in every five persons on this earth firmly believes that the Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) is the last Messenger of God. He was a Muslim and there are more than 1.3 billion such Muslims today.

Not only individuals but entire countries take pride in declaring their allegiance to him. There are 54 such Muslim states today, ranging from those as large as Indonesia and Bangladesh, with populations of 200 and 125 million respectively, to those as tiny as the Maldives or Brunei with populations of 230,000 and 260,000. Even in non-Muslim countries, large Muslim populations constitute significant minorities; as much as 120 million in India and 20 million in China. Indeed, within the last half century, Islam, the religion brought by the Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh), has become the second largest religion in most European countries, as also in America and Canada.

Black and white, red and yellow, followers of the Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) come from all human races. Whether in Asia or Europe, Africa or America, in every nook and cranny of this globe, you are sure to find Muslims. They live in the most advanced, sprawling megalopolis as well as in the most primitive nomadic tent, village, hamlet, and even in the bush.

As now so always, down the centuries, across the planet, from end to end, billions and billions of men and women have lived all their lives, loving the Prophet (Pbuh) and trying to follow in his footsteps, as no one else has been so loved and followed. They have lived and died, believed and acted, married and raised families, worshipped and ruled, made war and peace, even eaten and dressed, walked and slept, just as he did or taught them to do.

Indeed, never in history has a man influenced mankind, even beyond his death, so deeply and so pervasively as he has. He brings light and peace to countless hearts and lives. Muslims love him more dearly than their own selves. In him they find their greatest source of inspiration and guidance. He is the ultimate norm and the perfect example for them. Faith in Allah and His Messenger is their mainstay and Allah is their chief source of support and comfort in all personal vicissitudes and tribulations. To him they also look to lead them through social and political turmoil. He has always inspired them to greater and greater heights of spiritual and moral upliftment and civilizational achievements. And still does.

In short, Muslims believe that through him, a human like themselves, God has spoken to them, and guided him to live amongst them, setting an example and a model for all times to come. Even today he motivates and induces whole populations to yearn and strive to shape their private lives, politics and policies according to Allah’s teachings.

Yes, Because there is only one God, and He is God from everlasting to everlasting (see Psalms 90:2).
In the Bible, God declares: “Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.” (Isaiah 43:10).

    • Joshua

Remember that the most important of all the commandments, according to Jesus, is to know God as the only God. Jesus further emphasized this in the Gospel According to John. In John 17:1, Jesus lifted his eyes to heaven and prayed, addressing God as Father. Then in verse three, he said to God as follows: “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” (John 17:3).

The fundamental aspect in Islam that should We follow are : – the holy Qur’an
(Direct message from Allah) – The Hadits (The way of Muhammad’s life in
applying all God’s message/rule/order in this world) – The 5th pillars of Islam
(Consist of fundamental prayer that moslem should Do) – The 6th Pillar of Faith
( consist of fundamental faith that all moslem should believe).

In my opinion, it’s very simple to judge Islam is the only
authorized religion by Allah after Jews & Christian of course.

History showed that Jew religion was been rejected by paganist
people at that time, after the Christian appeared the Jew people was rejected
christian as well, once the Islam is born not only Jew/Pagan/Christian/Satanist
who rejected it but most of people in the world are have a bad image about
moslem & it happen long before 9/11 tragedy.

So the conclusion is islam population will be not occupied all
people in this world because Allah said that only few people (Moslem) will be
place in heaven in the afterlife & not all Islam believer will be placed in
heaven, it’s all depending wether they have faith & Do all that have to Do
in Islam ways including prayer etc & to estrange all the forbidden things
        in Islam.

Let me give easy example as follow, people must to work very
very hard to become rich in this world, so do you think it will be very easy to
winning God’s heart to let us enter His heaven?

In Islam We have to pray hard & live with islam ways &
we have to keep kind attitude to each other (all religion) to become rich in
        the afterlife.

From what I know there’s no such religion like Islam that have a
very clear guidance to running this live both in the present & afterlife .

I’m a moslem from the most populous islam country in the world
        “indonesia”.

The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. Just because many people believe something, doesn’t necessarily make it true. Yes you revere your prophet, but you leave out a lot of information about him. Like, why does the first year of the Islamic religion start in 622 AD and not when Muhammad was born? What is the significance of this event? Why did Muhammad only have a handful of followers during the first 10 years of Islam when he was preaching peacefully?

      • Tasiu Yusuf

It’s because he is the final messager of God. And after him they’re no other messager.

  • Tasiu Yusuf

The Prophet Muhammad was a perfect example of an honest, just, merciful, compassionate, truthful, and brave human being. Though he was a man, he was far removed from all evil characteristics and strove solely for the sake of God and His reward in the Hereafter. Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of God.

and he taught you to behead people who have sinned. and also taught you to strangle people to death,in otherwords there’s already made heaven for serial killers, murderers and terrorists. People who murder and maim and enslave women and all crime against humanity all in the name of god. BOMB AND BOMBERS RELIGION.

      • Tasiu Yusuf

No this is what he teaches usOur beloved prophet Muhammad (upon whom be peace) had told us that, who ever kills himself in this life, using a knife or through himself of a mountain, or suicide bomber. however he kills himself, he Will remains in hell fire killing himself in the same way over and over again…

By these arguments, Mr. Adebayor will be exposing himself and his nearly found faith to ridicule. Its for obvious reasons some his itemized reasons did not find equivalent quotations. Its always better to keep such nuances to oneself than make a public show of it. Religion all too soon takes the best of peoples imagination and reasoning. May be Mr Adebayor should have also Judaism for proximity or Buddhism.

Mr. Immanuel, All the 13 reasons that you gave are meaningless and unreasonable. Even devil quoted from the Old testament Bible , when Jesus was in the wilderness. I am not surprised that Muslims quoting from the bible to defend their false God and their moon God (Allah). Muslims should study their pre-Islamic history; and the source of their religion ‘ ISLAM’

    • Furgen Plak

Why is it meaningless and unreasonable to quote from the old testament, while that testament is closer to the thruth than the new one? Moon god? What are you talking about? And tell me about the source of islam. All that you have stated so far shows your ignorance.

Evidence that the Qur’aan is the Word of Allaah

With regard to the Quraan and the proof that it is the word of Allaah, these are specious arguments which were put forward out of stubbornness and arrogance by the first kaafirs to whom the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was sent. Allaah refuted what they said in many ways, proving their words to be false and pointing out what was wrong with it. For example:

1- This Quraan is challenge from Allaah to mankind and the jinn to produce anything like it, but they were unable to. Then He challenged them to produce only ten soorahs like it, and they were unable to. Then He challenged them to produce something like the shortest soorah in the Quraan, and they could not do it, even though those who were being challenged were the most eloquent and well-spoken of mankind, and the Quraan was revealed in their language. Yet despite that they stated that they were completely incapable of doing that. This challenge has remained down throughout history, but not one person has been able to produce anything like it. If this were the word of a human being, some people would have been able to produce something like it or close to it. There is a great deal of evidence for this challenge in the Quraan, for example, the aayah (interpretation of the meaning):

    Say: If the mankind and the jinn were together to produce the like of this Quraan, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another ;

    [al-Israa 17:88]

Allaah says, challenging them to produce just ten soorahs:

Or they say, He (Prophet Muhammad) forged it (the Quraan). Say: Bring you then ten forged Soorah (chapters) like unto it, and call whomsoever you can, other than Allaah (to your help), if you speak the truth!

[Hood 11:13 interpretation of the meaning]

Allaah says, challenging them to produce just one soorah:

And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Quraan) to Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a Soorah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allaah, if you are truthful

[al-Baqarah 2:23 interpretation of the meaning]

2- No matter how much knowledge and understanding mankind attains, they will still inevitably make mistakes, forget things or fall short. If the Quraan were not the word of Allaah, there would be some contradictions and shortcomings in it, as Allaah says:

Had it been from other than Allaah, they would surely, have found therein many a contradiction

[al-Nisa 4:82 interpretation of the meaning]

But it is free from any shortcoming, error or contradiction; indeed, all of it is wisdom, mercy and justice. Whoever thinks that there is any contradiction in it, that is because of his diseased thinking and mistaken understanding; if he refers to the scholars they will explain to him what is correct and clear up the confusion for him, as Allaah says:

Verily, those who disbelieved in the Reminder (i.e. the Quraan) when it came to them (shall receive the punishment). And verily, it is an honourable well fortified respected Book (because it is Allaahs Speech, and He has protected it from corruption).

Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it, (it is) sent down by the All Wise, Worthy of all praise (Allaah)”

[Fussilat 41:41-42 interpretation of the meaning]

3- Allaah has guaranteed to preserve this Quraan, and He says:

Verily, We, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Quraan) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption)”

[al-Hijr 15:9 interpretation of the meaning]

Every letter of it was transmitted by thousands from thousands down throughout history, and not one letter of it was altered. If any person tried to alter anything in it, or add something or take something away, then he would be exposed straight away, because Allaah is the One Who has guaranteed to preserve the Quraan, unlike the case with other divinely-revealed Books which Allaah revealed to the people of a particular Prophet only, and not to all of mankind, so He did not guarantee to preserve them, rather He delegated their preservation to the followers of the Prophets. But they did not preserve them, rather they introduced alterations and changes which distorted most of the meanings. The Quraan, on the other hand, was revealed by Allaah to all of mankind until the end of time, because the Message of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is the final message, so the Quraan is preserved in mens hearts and in written form, as is proven by the events of history. How many people have tried to change the aayahs of the Quraan and deceive the Muslims, but they were quickly exposed and their falsehood was discovered, even by Muslim children.

Another of the definitive signs that this Quraan was not produced by the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) but that it came revealed by Allaah to him is the following:

4- The great miracles which the Quraan contains of legislation, rulings, stories and beliefs, which could not be produced by any created being no matter how great his intelligence and level of understanding. No matter how hard people try to promulgate laws to regulate their lives, they can never succeed so long as they are far away from the teachings of the Quraan; the further away they are, the greater their rate of failure. This is something that has been proven by the kuffaar themselves.

5- Reports of matters of the unseen, both past and future, which no human being could speak of independently, no matter how great his knowledge, especially at that time which is regarded as primitive in terms of technology and modern tools. There are many things which had not been discovered yet, and which have only been discovered after lengthy and difficult exploration with the most modern equipment, but Allaah told us about them in the Quraan, and the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) mentioned them, fifteen centuries ago, such as the stages of embryonic development, the nature of the oceans, etc. These things have made some kaafirs state that this could only have come from God, as in the case of the development of the embryo:

Only 60 years ago, researchers confirmed that man does not come into existence all at once, but rather he passes through stages of development one after another. Only 60 years ago, science discovered this one Quraanic fact.

Shaykh al-Zandaani said, we met an American professor, one of the greatest American scientists, whose name was Professor Marshall Johnson, and we told him that it says in the Qur’aan that man is created in stages. When he heard this, he was sitting down, but he stood up and said, Stages? We said, That was in the seventh century CE! This Book came and said, man was created in stages. He said, That is impossible, impossible We told him, Why do you say that? This Book says (interpretation of the meaning):

He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation in three veils of darkness

    [al-Zumar 39:6]

What is the matter with you, that [you fear not Allaah (His punishment), and] you hope not for reward (from Allaah or you believe not in His Oneness).

While He has created you in (different) stages

    [Nooh 71:14]

Then he sat back down on his chair and after a few moments he said, There are only three possibilities. The first is that Muhammad had a huge microscope through which he managed to study these things and he knew things that the people did not know, and he said these things. The second is that this happened by accident, it was a coincidence. The third is that he was a Messenger from God. We said, With regard to the first idea, that he had a microscope and other equipment, you know that a microscope needs lenses, and lenses need glass and technical expertise and other equipment. Some of this information can only be discovered with an electron microscope which needs electricity, and electricity needs knowledge which should have been acquired by an earlier generation. It is not possible for this knowledge to have been acquired all at once in a single generation; the previous generation would have had to strive hard in developing science and transmitting it to the next generation, and so on. But for this to be the work of one man, with no one coming before him or after him, either in his own land or the neighbouring lands for the Romans, Persians and Arabs were ignorant and had no such equipment for one man to have all these instruments and tools which he did not pass on to anyone else this is not possible. He said, Thats right, it would be very difficult. We said, And for it to have been an accident or coincidence, what would you think if we said that the Quraan did not mention this fact only in one verse but in several verses, and that it did not refer to it in general terms but that it gave details of every stage, saying that in the first stage such and such happens, in the second stage such and such happens, in the third stage and so on. Could that be a coincidence? When we explained to him all the details of those stages, he said, It is wrong to say that this is an accident! This is well-founded knowledge. We said, Then how do you explain it? He said, There is no explanation except that this is revelation from above!

With regard to the many statements in the Quraan concerning the sea, some of these facts were not discovered until very recently, and many of them are still unknown. For example, these facts were discovered after hundreds of marine stations had been set up, and after images had been taken by satellites. The one who said this was Professor Schroeder, one of the greatest oceanographers in West Germany. He used to say that if science advanced, religion would have to retreat. But when he heard the translation of the verses of the Quraan, he was stunned and said, These could not be the words of a human being. And Professor Dorjaro, a professor of oceanography, told us of the latest developments on science, when he heard the aayah:

Or (the state of a disbeliever) is like the darkness in a vast deep sea, overwhelmed with waves topped by waves, topped by dark clouds, (layers of) darkness upon darkness: if a man stretches out his hand, he can hardly see it! And he for whom Allaah has not appointed light, for him there is no light

[al-Noor 24:40 interpretation of the meaning]

He said, In the past, man could not dive to a depth of more than twenty meters because he had no special equipment. But now we can dive to the bottom of the ocean, using modern equipment, and we find intense darkness at a depth of two hundred meters. The aayah says a vast deep sea . The discoveries in the depths of the sea give us an understanding of the aayah, (layers of) darkness upon darkness. It is known that there are seven colours in the spectrum, including red, yellow, blue, green, orange, etc. When we dive down into the depths of the ocean, these colours disappear one after another, and the disappearance of each colour results in more darkness. Red disappears first, then orange, then yellow the last colour to disappear is blue, at a depth of two hundred meters. Each colour that disappears adds to the darkness until it reaches total darkness. With regard to the phrase waves topped by waves, it has been proven scientifically that there is a separation between the upper and lower parts of the ocean, and that this separation is filled with waves, as if there are waves on the edge of the dark, lower portion of the sea, which we do not see, and there are waves on the shores of the sea, which we do see. So it is as if there are waves above waves. This is a confirmed scientific fact, hence Professor Dorjaro said concerning these Quraanic verses, that this cannot be human knowledge.

    (See al-Adillah al-Maadiyyah ala Wujood-Allaah by Muhammad Mitwalli al-Sharaawi)

And there are very many such examples

6- In the Quraan there are some aayahs which rebuke the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and mention some things to which Allaah drew his attention. Some of them may have been embarrassing for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). But if this Quraan had come from the Messenger of Allaah, there would have been no need for this; if he were to conceal any part of the Quraan, he would have concealed some of these verses which contained rebukes or drew his attention to certain matters which he should not have done, such as the verse in which Allaah says to His Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him):

But you did hide in yourself (i.e. what Allaah has already made known to you that He will give her to you in marriage) that which Allaah will make manifest, you did fear the people (i.e., their saying that Muhammad married the divorced wife of his manumitted slave) whereas Allaah had a better right that you should fear Him

[al-Ahzaab 33:37 interpretation of the meaning]

After this, can there be any doubt left in the mind of any intelligent person that this Quraan is the word of Allaah, and that the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) conveyed that which was revealed to him in full?

        Orbits

While referring to the Sun and the Moon in the Qur’an, it is emphasized that each moves in a definite orbit.

“It is He Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They swim along, each in an orbit.” (The Qur’an, 21:33)

It is mentioned in another verse, too, that the Sun is not static but moves in a definite orbit:

“And the sun runs to its resting place. That is the decree of the Almighty, the All-Knowing.” (The Qur’an, 36:38)

“It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit.” (The Qur’an, 36:40)

        The Protected Roof

Today science tells us that the atmosphere of the earth it acts like a filter and prevents the harmful radiations from outer space to come on to the surface of the earth. It prevents x-rays and ultra violate rays to reach the surface of the earth, which is very important for the sustenance of life. If this filter of the earth atmosphere wasn’t there then life would not exist on the face of the earth.

Quran mentions over 1400 years ago in surah Ambiya’, Ch.21, V. 32

“We made the sky a preserved and protected roof yet still they turn away from Our Signs..”

        The Expansion of the Universe

In the Qur’an, which was revealed 14 centuries ago at a time when the science of astronomy was still primitive, the expansion of the universe was described like this:

“And it is We who have constructed the heaven with might, and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it.” (The Qur’an, 51:47)

The word “heaven”, as stated in this verse, is used in various places in the Qur’an with the meaning of space and universe. Here again, the word is used with this meaning. In other words, in the Qur’an it is revealed that the universe “expands”. And this is the very conclusion that science has reached today.

If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (Submission to Allah), Never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (their selves in the hell fire). (The Noble Qur’an 3:85)

The Religion in the sight of Allah is Islam (The Noble Qur’an, 3:19)

…whoever rejects evil and believes in the Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy Hand-hold, that never breaks… (The Noble Qur’an 2:256).

Islam means submission to the Creator alone. Islam is the belief that there is no god (deity) worthy to be worshipped but Allah

Islam is the same message given to all the prophets, from Adam, Noah, Moses, Abraham, Jesus, and finally to the Prophet Muhammad, the last messenger (peace and blessings be upon them). They all brought the same message: worship only God, and stop worshipping human beings and their ideas.

The science you refer to in the Quran, if you want to call it that (there’s nothing scientific about the Quran) was known during Archimedes time, 200 BC. It wasn’t revealed to Muhammed at all, he plagiarised it. Much of this science you talk about (and I use that term very loosely) has been debunked by new science. For the record, I put my trust in science because its subjected to rigorous testing and therefore backed up with evidence, its subject to constant scrutiny unlike religion which people believe without question. How do you know you have the right religion (of all the religions out there) and therefore the correct God? What makes you so arrogant to believe that?

          • Call to Islam

Blessed be He Who sent down the criterion (of right and wrong, i.e. this Quran) to His slave (Muhammad SAW) that he may be a warner to the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinns).(Quran, 25:1)

He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Who has begotten no son (children or offspring) and for Whom there is no partner in the dominion. He has created everything, and has measured it exactly according to its due measurements.(Quran, 25:2)

Yet they have taken besides Him other aliha (gods) that created nothing but are themselves created, and possess neither hurt nor benefit for themselves, and possess no power (of causing) death, nor (of giving) life, nor of raising the dead. (Quran, 25:3)

Those who disbelieve say: “This (the Quran) is nothing but a lie that he (Muhammad SAW) has invented, and others have helped him at it, so that they have produced an unjust wrong (thing) and a lie.(Quran, 25:4)

And they say: “Tales of the ancients, which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon.”(Quran, 25:5)

Say: “It (this Quran) has been sent down by Him (Allah) (the Real Lord of the heavens and earth) Who knows the secret of the heavens and the earth. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”(Quran, 25:6)

And they say: “Why does this Messenger (Muhammad SAW) eat food, and walk about in the markets (like ourselves). Why is not an angel sent down to him to be a warner with him? (Quran, 25:7)

“Or (why) has not a treasure been granted to him, or why has he not a garden whereof he may eat?” And the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) say: “You follow none but a man bewitched.”(Quran, 25:8)

See how they coin similitudes for you, so they have gone astray, and they cannot find a (Right) Path. (Quran, 25:9)

Blessed be He Who, if He will, will assign you better than (all) that, – Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise) and will assign you palaces (i.e. in Paradise). (Quran, 25:10)

Nay, they deny the Hour (the Day of Resurrection), and for those who deny the Hour, We have prepared a flaming Fire (i.e. Hell). (Quran, 25:11)

When it (Hell) sees them from a far place, they will hear its raging and its roaring. (Quran, 25:12)

And when they shall be thrown into a narrow place thereof, chained together, they will exclaim therein for destruction.(Quran, 25:13)

Exclaim not today for one destruction, but exclaim for many destructions.(Quran, 25:14)

Say: (O Muhammad SAW) “Is that (torment) better or the Paradise of Eternity promised to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons – see V.2:2)?” It will be theirs as a reward and as a final destination.(Quran, 25:15)

For them there will be therein all that they desire, and they will abide (there forever). It is a promise binding upon your Lord that must be fulfilled.(Quran, 25:16)

And on the Day when He will gather them together and that which they worship besides Allah [idols, angels, pious men, saints, ‘Iesa (Jesus) – son of Maryam (Mary), etc.]. He will say: “Was it you who misled these My slaves or did they (themselves) stray from the (Right) Path?”(Quran, 25:17)

They will say: “Glorified be You! It was not for us to take any Auliya’ (Protectors, Helpers, etc.) besides You, but You gave them and their fathers comfort till they forgot the warning, and became a lost people (doomed to total loss).(Quran, 25:18)

Thus they (false gods all deities other than Allah) will give you (polytheists) the lie regarding what you say (that they are gods besides Allah), then you can neither avert (the punishment), nor get help. And whoever among you does wrong (i.e. sets up rivals to Allah), We shall make him taste a great torment. (Quran, 25:19)

And We never sent before you (O Muhammad SAW) any of the Messengers but verily, they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you as a trial for others: will you have patience? And your Lord is Ever All-Seer (of everything). (Quran, 25:20)

And those who expect not for a Meeting with Us (i.e. those who deny the Day of Resurrection and the life of the Hereafter), say: “Why are not the angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?” Indeed they think too highly of themselves, and are scornful with great pride. (Quran, 25:21)

On the Day they will see the angels, no glad tidings will there be for the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) that day. And they (angels) will say: “All kinds of glad tidings are forbidden for you,” [None will be allowed to enter Paradise except the one who said: La ilaha ill-Allah, “(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and acted practically on its legal orders and obligations] . (Quran, 25:22)

And We shall turn to whatever deeds they (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) did, and We shall make such deeds as scattered floating particles of dust.(Quran, 25:23)

The dwellers of Paradise (i.e. those who deserved it through their Faith and righteousness) will, on that Day, have the best abode, and have the fairest of places for repose. (Quran, 25:24)

And (remember) the Day when the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and the angels will be sent down, with a grand descending.(Quran, 25:25)

The sovereignty on that Day will be the true (sovereignty), belonging to the Most Beneficent (Allah), and it will be a hard Day for the disbelievers (those who disbelieve in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism).(Quran, 25:26)

And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist, etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: “Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger ( Muhammad SAW).(Quran, 25:27)

“Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a friend!(Quran, 25:28)

“He indeed led me astray from the Reminder (this Quran) after it had come to me. And Shaitan (Satan) is ever a deserter to man in the hour of need.”(Quran, 25:29)

          • JesusisGOD

Sorry nope I don’t buy it,Gods word is the bible and Jesus (Iesa) is God

            in John chapter 1

1 In the beginning the Word (Jesus) already existed.
The Word (Jesus) was with God,
and the Word (Jesus) was God.
2 He (Jesus) existed in the beginning with God.
3 God created everything through him (Jesus),
and nothing was created except through him (Jesus).
4 The Word (Jesus) gave life to everything that was created,
and his life brought light to everyone.
5 The light shines in the darkness (not just physical but spiritual sinful darkness), and the darkness can never extinguish it,

6 God sent a man, John the Baptist, 7 to tell about the light (Jesus) so that everyone might believe because of his testimony. 8 John himself was not the light; he was simply a witness to tell about the light (Jesus). 9 The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world (JESUS).

10 He (Jesus) came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. 11 He came to his own people (Jews), and even they rejected him. 12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. 13 They are reborn not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

14 So the Word (Jesus) became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we (the disciples and other witnesses) have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son (Jesus).

            15 John (Prophet)
testified about him when he shouted to the crowds, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’”(hint: talking about Jesus)..

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 30 He is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘A man is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’ 31 I did not recognize him as the Messiah, but I have been baptizing with water so that he might be revealed to Israel.”

32 Then John testified, “I saw the Holy Spirit descending like a dove from heaven and resting upon him. 33 I
didn’t know he was the one, but when God (Father) sent me to baptize with water, he told me, ‘The one on whom you see the Spirit (Holy Spirit) descend and rest is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ 34 I saw this happen to Jesus, so I testify that he is the Chosen One of God.” (Note the trinity)

            and came back to life

            John Chapter 20
Early on Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. 2 She
ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, “They have taken the Lord’s body out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”

3 Peter and the other disciple started out for the tomb. 4 They were both running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 He stooped and looked in and saw the linen wrappings lying there, but he didn’t go in. 6 Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, 7 while the cloth that had covered Jesus’ head was folded up and lying apart from the other wrappings. 8 Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed— 9 for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead. 10 Then they went home.

            Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene

11 Mary was standing outside the tomb crying, and as she wept, she stooped and looked in. 12 She
saw two white-robed angels, one sitting at the head and the other at
the foot of the place where the body of Jesus had been lying. 13 “Dear woman, why are you crying?” the angels asked her.

“Because they have taken away my Lord,” she replied, “and I don’t know where they have put him.”

14 She turned to leave and saw someone standing there. It was Jesus, but she didn’t recognize him. 15 “Dear woman, why are you crying?” Jesus asked her. “Who are you looking for?”

She thought he was the gardener. “Sir,” she said, “if you have taken him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will go and get him.”

16 “Mary!” Jesus said. She turned to him and cried out, “Rabboni!” (which is Hebrew for “Teacher”).

17 “Don’t cling to me,” Jesus said, “for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell
them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

            Philippians chapter 2
6 Though he was God (Jesus)
he did not think of equality with God
            as something to cling to.
7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being (flesh and blood) When he appeared in human form
8 he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. (Yes Jesus was CRUCIFIED)

9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

            also in

            Romans 14:9
For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

            also in Timothy 2

I (Paul) solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when he comes to set up his
Kingdom: 2 Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not.
Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. 3 For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will reject the truth and chase after myths.

The word (kunfayakun…meaning “BE! and it will surely BE!) was used to create Jesus and so was Adam. Almighty Allah ( The God of kunfayakun) created so many things with this word(kunfayakun) as you have stated but the error you have been making is by saying prophet Isa (Jesus) pbuh is the word, that he was begotten by the Almighty Allah, and sent down to all mankind to wash away their sins (how hilarious). Adam and Jesus pbud were created by the word. If truely Jesus pbuh was the word, why then did he not appear secretly to fufil his mission on earth Or did you mean ” The word itself (whom you called jesus) was created through the word again?” You are lost my friend but you do not know.

He doesn’t address the heart of the teachings of Christ, which are quite shocking and radical and called for trust in Him. (Read the gospel of Mark as a starter) He picks out incidental lifestyle aspects that Jesus, as a Jew, followed—a strictly external view of Jesus–who taught that true issues were in the heart. (See Sermon on the Mount) This is like saying I am really a truer woman than other women because I sometimes watch the Voice, I like to hear Selene Dion sing and I love children!

    • asimrauh

but shouldn’t Christians follow Christ by his act, appearance and act towards his people too ?

Muhammad p.b.u.h said that as well…

-On the authority of Abu ‘Abdullah al-Nu’man bin Bashir, radiyallahu ‘anhu, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, say:

“Truly, what is lawful is evident, and what is unlawful is evident, and in between the two are matters which are doubtful which many people do not know. He who guards against doubtful things keeps his religion and honour blameless, and he who indulges in doubtful things indulges in fact in unlawful things, just as a shepherd who pastures his flock round a preserve will soon pasture them in it. Beware, every king has a preserve, and the things Allah has declared unlawful are His preserves. Beware, in the body there is a flesh; if it is sound, the whole body is sound, and if it is corrupt, the whole body is corrupt, and behold, it is the heart.”

      [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

    • Acho Henry

Being like Christ is from the heart not from the physical. Issues like anger, pride, hatred, war, greed, lust etc all start from a seed which is planted in the heart by the evil one, thats one of the reasons why Jesus the Son of God came to earth,to show us that by genuinely believing in him and walking with him through the holy spirit,we will live above those negative attitudes and all sinful acts. The difference between the old testament and the new testament is that in the old testament, the people then lived according to the law and still lived in sin because the law condemned them as they couldn’t completely live according to it but in the new testament or the new age, those who genuinely believe in Jesus as the Son of God,live by the Spirit of God and are made Sons and Daughters of God with Christ Jesus. So to Emmanuel Adebayor because you haven’t seen true followers of Christ doesn’t make Christianity erroneous, just say a prayer to God to lead you to real Christians to clear the doubts you have

      • michael okeniyi

What more proof do you expect from Adebayor after having provided verses from the Bible. I reguest you provide evidences from your bible to counter those verses he has provided, If you are truthful!!!

Jesus had said that his true followers are those who hold to his teachings. He said: “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.” (John 8:31). His teaching is that people must continue to keep the commandments, especially the first commandment which emphasizes that God is alone, and that God should be loved with all our hearts and all our strengths.

This proves beyond doubt that if people want to get eternal life they must know that the One, whom Jesus was praying to, is the only true God, and they must know that Jesus was sent by the true God.

I’m an atheist, I have a complete lack of belief in ALL Gods, there’s no evidence to support the existence of any God. What’s kind of funny is that all you people arguing on behalf of your God are only a lack of belief in that one God from being an Atheist like me. What makes you think out of all the 100’s of religions out there you have the correct one anyway?

i am smarter than u , when i die and i will be dust or enter the paradise , when u die u will be just dust or u will go to hell , i am a winner

      • dpxton

That’s known as Pascal’s wager. Your belief exists only because of fear, a fear that you might burn in hell. It’s a good way to make people believe, the fear of continually burning for eternity. Listen, I’m a good person that doesn’t have a religion and so does not believe in a creator. Are you telling me even though I’m a good person that isn’t Muslim and does not believe in your God then ill burn in shell for eternity? If so, this God strikes me as one of the most evil people that never existed. Not a particular nice person at all from what I can tell.

        • Furgen Plak

Well that’s funny. You don’t believe or even acknowledge god, yet you expect to be entering his paradise. In my opinion, it is only fair to be thrown in the fire.

          • dpxton

No, because there is no such thing as heaven, Valhalla, Janna or whatever else you want to call it. No omnipotent God could be so petty as to throw good people into hell fire just because they happen to practice the same religion their parents brought them up to believe, which happens to be the wrong religion. I don’t need a religion in my life to feel happy and fulfilled, I live by a simple rule known as the golden rule, ‘treat others as one would like others to treat oneself’. It’s a simple rule and it works.

          • Furgen Plak

So actually. You have no place in a discussion where people are talking about religion. If you are so proud of your atheism, by all means keep practicing. But your opinion doesn’t amount to anything here. With all due respect.

          • dpxton

Firstly, no one practices atheism. I don’t follow a single book or a set of rules to be an atheist. There’s no atheistic doctrines. Secondly, why is my opinion any less valued than yours? You say ‘with all due respect’, yet I detect a lack of respect. I invite everyone to openly question and query everything, use critical thinking, reason and evidence to form opinions and don’t just believe them because you fear that not believing something means you face an everlasting punishment of burning in a fire (which is too ridiculous for starters). Believe by all means, but don’t base that belief on fear of what your life may be after death or base your belief on the desires of what you think your rewards will be when you die. Different Gods have seduced followers for centuries based on their fears and desires and the same gullible people get exploited by it. These religions being discussed are no different.

The revelation of the Book (this Quran) is from the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists) in which there is not doubt! (The Noble Quran, 32:02)

Or say they: “He (Muhammad SAW) has fabricated it?” Nay, it is the truth from your Lord, that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you (O Muhammad SAW), in order that they may be guided. (The Noble Quran, 32:03)

Allah it is He Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them in six Days. Then He Istawa (rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). You (mankind) have none, besides Him, as a Wali (protector or helper etc.) or an intercessor. Will you not then remember (or be admonished)? (The Noble Quran, 32:04)

He arranges (every) affair from the heavens to the earth, then it (affair) will go up to Him, in one Day, the space whereof is a thousand years of your reckoning (i.e. reckoning of our present world’s time). (The Noble Quran, 32:05)

That is He, the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen, the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.( The Noble Quran, 32:06)

Who made everything He has created good, and He began the creation of man from clay.(The Noble Quran, 32:07)

Then He made his offspring from semen of worthless water (male and female sexual discharge).. (The Noble Quran, 32:08)

Then He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him the soul (created by Allah for that person), and He gave you hearing (ears), sight (eyes) and hearts. Little is the thanks you give!.(The Noble Quran, 32:09)

And they say: “When we are (dead and become) lost in the earth, shall we indeed be recreated anew?” Nay, but they deny the Meeting with their Lord! (The Noble Quran, 32:10)

Say: “The angel of death, who is set over you, will take your souls, then you shall be brought to your Lord.”(The Noble Quran, 32:11)

And if you only could see when the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) shall hang their heads before their Lord (saying): “Our Lord! We have now seen and heard, so send us back (to the world), we will do righteous good deeds. Verily! We now believe with certainty.(The Noble Quran, 32:12)

And if We had willed, surely! We would have given every person his guidance, but the Word from Me took effect (about evil-doers), that I will fill Hell with jinn and mankind together.(The Noble Quran, 32:13)

Then taste you (the torment of the Fire) because of your forgetting the Meeting of this Day of yours, (and) surely! We too will forget you, so taste you the abiding torment for what you used to do.(The Noble Quran, 32:14)

Only those believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), who, when they are reminded of them fall down prostrate, and glorify the Praises of their Lord, and they are not proud.(The Noble Quran, 32:15)

Their sides forsake their beds, to invoke their Lord in fear and hope, and they spend (charity in Allah’s Cause) out of what We have bestowed on them.(The Noble Quran, 32:16)

No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do.(The Noble Quran, 32:17)

Is then he who is a believer like him who is Fasiq (disbeliever and disobedient to Allah)? Not equal are they.(The Noble Quran, 32:18)

As for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, for them are Gardens (Paradise) as an entertainment, for what they used to do. (The Noble Quran, 32:19)

And as for those who are Fasiqun (disbelievers and disobedient to Allah), their abode will be the Fire, every time they wish to get away therefrom, they will be put back thereto, and it will be said to them: “Taste you the torment of the Fire which you used to deny.” (The Noble Quran, 32:20)

And verily, We will make them taste of the near torment (i.e. the torment in the life of this world, i.e. disasters, calamities, etc.) prior to the supreme torment (in the Hereafter), in order that they may (repent and) return (i.e. accept Islam). (The Noble Quran, 32:21)

And who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of his Lord, then he turns aside therefrom? Verily, We shall exact retribution from the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.).(The Noble Quran, 32:22)

Made from clay? Evolution is a proven theory my friend, the evidence and proof is there for you to see for yourself. Why would an omnipotent God wish to continually torture and torment a human being in hell fire? This doesn’t sound like a very forgiving God to me. Non of your scriptures are evidence my friend, just the thoughts of a man obsessed with control and power. I wish you well with your search for the truth. Good luck.

I have shown you clear evidences that the Quran is the Word of Allah. You have denied, rejected and are in disbelief. You will soon see and by then it is too late, if you haven’t believed in this life. Allah is the Most Just, the Most Merciful.

          • Call to Islam

Allaah has told us that he will forgive all sins for the one who repents to Him. He says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Say: ‘O ‘Ibaadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allaah, verily, Allaah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful’”

            [al-Zumar 39:53]

This includes all sins, even shirk(shirk means ascribing a partner or rival to Allaah in Lordship (ruboobiyyah), worship or in His names and attributes). Whoever repents, Allaah will accept his repentance.

With regard repentance from shirk in particular and the acceptance thereof, Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And those who invoke not any other ilaah (god) along with Allaah, nor kill such person as Allaah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment.

            69. The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace;

            70. Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds; for those, Allaah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allaah is Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful”

            [al-Furqaan 25:68-70]

Allaah mentions the kufr and shirk of the Christians, then calls them to repent. He says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Surely, disbelievers are those who said: “Allaah is the third of the three (in a Trinity).” But there is no Ilaah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilaah (God —Allaah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall on the disbelievers among them.

            74. Will they not turn with repentance to Allaah and ask His forgiveness? For Allaah is Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful”

            [al-Maa’idah 5:73-74]

No matter how great the sin, the forgiveness, generosity and kindness of Allaah is greater.

All you have to do is to turn to Allaah, regret what you did and resolve not to do it again. Then receive the glad tidings of the bounty and mercy of Allaah, for Islam wipes out whatever sins came before it, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas (may Allaah be pleased with him): “O ‘Amr, do you not know that Islam wipes out whatever came before it.” Narrated by Muslim, 121; Ahmad, 17861.

And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The one who repents from sin is like one who did not sin.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and classed as hasan by al-Albaani.

If a person repents to Allaah, Allaah accepts his repentance and forgives him. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And He it is Who accepts repentance from His slaves, and forgives sins”

            [al-Shoora 42:25]

“And verily, I am indeed forgiving to him who repents, believes (in My Oneness, and associates none in worship with Me) and does righteous good deeds, and then remains constant in doing them (till his death)”

            [Ta-Ha 20:82]

We have to think well of our Lord and hope that He will accept our repentance, for Allaah says, “I am as My slave thinks I am.” A hadeeth qudsi narrated by al-Bukhaari, 7066; Muslim, 2675. According to Ahmad with a saheeh isnaad: “I am as My slave thinks I am, so let him think whatever he wants.

Kufr in Arabic means covering and concealing something.

In shar’i terminology it means “not believing in Allaah and His Messenger, whether that is accompanied by denial or it is not accompanied by denial but rather doubt, or turning away from faith out of jealousy or arrogance, or because one is following whims and desires that prevent one from following the message. So kufr is the attribute of everyone who rejects something that Allaah has commanded us to believe in, after news of that has reached him, whether he rejects it in his heart without uttering it, or he speaks those words of rejection without believing it in his heart, or he does both; or he does an action which is described in the texts as putting one beyond the pale of faith.” See Majmoo’ al-Fataawa by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah, 12/335; al-Ihkaam fi Usool al-Ahkaam by Ibn Hazam, 1/45.

Ibn Hazam said in his book al-Fasl: “Rejecting something for which there is sound proof that there can be no faith without believing in it is kufr, and uttering words for which there is proof that uttering them is kufr is kufr. Doing any action for which there is proof that it is kufr is also kufr.

You opinion doesn’t mean anything because this is a inter-religious discussion. Your standpoint does bring anything on the table.

Also. I used the word practice as a figure off speach.

Fear is a neccesary component when it comes to fate. Fear and love are 2 sides of the same coin. Parenting is a perfect example for that. Everyone loves there children. But wil discipline them when they cross boundaries.

Critical thinking is what lead me to islam. Critical thinking is good. But then again. It’s about balance. People who tend to over think also tend to mis a whole lot. And they think it is smart to ask questions like “and who created god”. Questions like that does not benefit you in knowledge because of infinite regression. Though, there is an answer.

And let’s say for a minute, that you are right. Let’s say there is no god. If i die, i would be less disappointed than someone who dies and found out that there is a god and be dragged in to hell for that what he denied.

I’ll leave it at that. Do with it what you will.

Your fear makes you believe, that is ‘Pascal’s wager’, that prevents you from thinking critically. Fear is not a good basis for belief in anything, it is an irrational belief. If you removed that fear you would be able to rationalise things much better. I don’t hold any animosity at all to those that believe based on fear and reward, I can understand why people do believe. It just doesn’t add up to a logical reason to believe in anything especially when their is no proof or evidence, except for one mans thoughts and words that were put in a book hundreds of years ago. Good luck to you in your quest for the truth whether that be with religion or without.

And mention in the Book (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW , the story of) Maryam (Mary), when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to a place facing east. (The Noble Quran, 19:16)

She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our Ruh [angel Jibrael (Gabriel)], and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects.( The Noble Quran, 19:17)

She said: “Verily! I seek refuge with the Most Beneficent (Allah) from you, if you do fear Allah.”(The Noble Quran, 19:18)

(The angel) said: “I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son.” (The Noble Quran, 19:19)

She said: “How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor am I unchaste?”(The Noble Quran, 19:20)

He said: “So (it will be), your Lord said: ‘That is easy for Me (Allah): And (We wish) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (Allah), and it is a matter (already) decreed, (by Allah). (The Noble Quran, 19:21)

Then she brought him (the baby) to her people, carrying him. They said: “O Mary! Indeed you have brought a thing Fariya (an unheard mighty thing). (The Noble Quran, 19:27)

“O sister (i.e. the like) of Harun (Aaron) [not the brother of Musa (Moses), but he was another pious man at the time of Maryam (Mary)]! Your father was not a man who used to commit adultery, nor your mother was an unchaste woman.” (The Noble Quran, 19:28)

Then she pointed to him. They said: “How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?” (The Noble Quran, 19:29)

“He [‘Iesa (Jesus)] said: Verily! I am a slave of Allah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;.” (The Noble Quran, 19:30)

“And He has made me blessed wheresoever I be, and has enjoined on me Salat (prayer), and Zakat, as long as I live.” (The Noble Quran, 19:31)

“And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest.” (The Noble Quran, 19:32)

“And Salam (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!” (The Noble Quran, 19:33)

Such is ‘Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). (it is) a statement of truth, about which they doubt (or dispute). (The Noble Quran, 19:34)

It befits not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son [this refers to the slander of Christians against Allah, by saying that ‘Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allah]. Glorified (and Exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, “Be!” and it is. (The Noble Quran, 19:35)

[‘Iesa (Jesus) said]: “And verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him (Alone). That is the Straight Path. (Allah’s Religion of Islamic Monotheism which He did ordain for all of His Prophets).”(The Noble Quran, 19:36)

Then the sects differed [i.e. the Christians about ‘Iesa (Jesus) ], so woe unto the disbelievers [those who gave false witness by saying that ‘Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allah] from the meeting of a great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection, when they will be thrown in the blazing Fire).(The Noble Quran, 19:37)

How clearly will they (polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) see and hear, the Day when they will appear before Us! But the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) today are in plain error.(The Noble Quran, 19:38)

And warn them (O Muhammad SAW) of the Day of grief and regrets, when the case has been decided, while (now) they are in a state of carelessness, and they believe not.(The Noble Quran, 19:39)

Verily! We will inherit the earth and whatsoever is thereon. And to Us they all shall be returned,(The Noble Quran, 19:40)

So to Emmanuel Adebayor because you haven’t seen true followers of Christ doesn’t make Christianity erroneous, just say a prayer to God to lead you to real Christians to clear the doubts you have.

  • Elizabeth

These are not reasons to be a Muslim. These are similarities between Christianity and Islam. But these similarities have nothing to do with eternity, love, forgiveness, or salvation. When it comes down to faith, the only things that matters are the principles that I listed above. When Jesus is standing in front of you and asks why you are not a Christian and you respond by listing all the similarities between Christianity and Islam. Jesus will be heartbroken and tell you that you never knew him. There is more to christianity and faith than just the practices like washing feet and saying certain phrases. Having that personal relationship with the Lord is the most important thing anyone can do. That relationship is bound my love and strength. Christianity opens the door to a faith that has a God that actively pursues you because he loves you. You may not understand the love aspect now, but when you pursue the Lord, he pursues you right back and you will know because you wouldn’t be the same. Question is, are you willing to pursue the Lord and give everything, includeing your desires, to Him so that you may be completely changed for the better?

This is quite evident from your statement above. Your believe and thinking is errorneous but you do not know.

    • Joshua

We love Jesus, but we must not love him as God. Today many love Jesus more than they love God. This is because they see God as a vengeful person who wanted to exact a penalty from them, and they see Jesus as the savior who rescued them from the wrath of God. Yet God is our only savior. According to Isaiah 43:11, God said: “I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior.” Also God said according to Isaiah 45:21-22: “Was it not I, the LORD? And there is no God apart from me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but me. Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.”

If Jesus thought that he himself is God, why did not he say so? Instead, he stressed that God is one. The man who questioned Jesus understood this, and what the man says next makes it clear that God is not Jesus, for he said to Jesus: “‘Well said, teacher,’ the man replied. ‘You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him.’” (Mark 12:32). Now if Jesus was God, he would have told the man so. Instead, he let the man refer to God

Jesus made this clear when another man approached Jesus to learn from him (see Mark 10:17-29). The man fell on his knees and said to Jesus: “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus replied: “Why do you call me good? No one is good — except God alone.” (Mark 10:17-18).

By so saying, Jesus made a clear distinction between himself and God. Then he proceeded with the answer to the man’s question about how to get salvation. Jesus told him: “If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.” (Matthew 19:17, also see Mark 10:19).

Sheyi Emanuel Adebayor, You have right to change your religion, but the argument you post is not a enough for me. The fact is that Arabs of today do not speak language that prophet Mohamed spoke, neither nor the European world of today speak the language that own the concept round Jesus, all those word you mention ”inshallah,” ”bismillah, etc are in their Arabic abstract pronunciation, which was derived from semantic language, so those word has noting to do with present Arabic language , but where I respect you when you made mention of Aramaic, which is also an abstract word derived from Akandian language ‘Arami’, which I believe you can understand the word ‘Arami’, because i’m sure you speak Yoruba. That Akandian you mention, is your ancient ancestral word of Yoruba Araba, Adebayo, You are a successful human being don’t involved yourself in this context, because you don’t need it. Elah is to Yoruba word ‘Ela’ as a Yoruba man you will know the meaning of ‘Ela, it’s not an Arab man that would tell you meaning of ‘Ela, beard throb is due to the desert nature of the region, and in my context has noting to do with sunnah [right way]. Adebayo may god continue to bless you, but rest loyal to the values of the world that made you to be human being. distance yourself from religion bigot.

Then whoever argues with you about it after [this] knowledge has come to you – say, “Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars [among us].”(The Noble Quran, 3:61)

Indeed, this is the true narration. And there is no deity except Allah . And indeed, Allah is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.(The Noble Quran, 3:62)

This shouldn’t be news, anyway his reasons do not hold water, it only a feeble mind that will be easily converted by such simple explanations. Obviously he has not got the capacity to question deeply what was branded to him. He lacks judgement. He is on his way to become another converted hypocrite.

The fundamental aspect in Islam that should We follow are : – the holy Qur’an (Direct message from Allah) – The Hadits (The way of Muhammad’s life in applying all God’s message/rule/order in this world) – The 5th pillars of Islam (Consist of fundamental prayer that moslem should Do) – The 6th Pillar of Faith ( consist of fundamental faith that all moslem should believe).
In my opinion, it’s very simple to judge Islam is the only authorized religion by Allah after Jews & Christian of course.
History showed that Jew religion was been rejected by paganist people at that time, after the Christian appeared the Jew people was rejected christian as well, once the Islam is born not only Jew/Pagan/Christian/Satanist who rejected it but most of people in the world are have a bad image about moslem & it happen long before 9/11 tragedy.
So the conclusion is islam population will be not occupied all people in this world because Allah said that only few people (Moslem) will be place in heaven in the afterlife & not all Islam believer will be placed in heaven, it’s all depending wether they have faith & Do all that have to Do in Islam ways including prayer etc & to estrange all the forbidden things in Islam.
Let me give easy example as follow, people must to work very very hard to become rich in this world, so do you think it will be very easy to winning God’s heart to let us enter His heaven?
In Islam We have to pray hard & live with islam ways & we have to keep kind attitude to each other (all religion) to become rich in the afterlife.
From what I know there’s no such religion like Islam that have a very clear guidance to running this live both in the present & afterlife .

13 invalid reasons why Emmanuel Adebayor converted to Islam

I received this article from a Muslim and
changed it to “I got 13 invalid reasons …” from “I got 13 valid reasons …” as
Emmanuel Adebayo certainly got it wrong. I’ve put a Christian perspective below
    each of his points.

WHY I CONVERTED TO ISLAM- Emmanuel Adebayo,
    All time Togolese best footballer.

I GOT 13 INVALID REASONS WHY AND HOW
MUSLIMS ARE LIKE JESUS (PBUH) AND TRUER FOLLOWERS OF JESUS THAN MOST CHRISTIANS
    BELIEVE:

    1. Jesus (pbuh) taught that there is only One
God and Only God should be worshipped as taught in Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29.

Muslims also believe this as taught in the
    Qur’an verse 4:171.

    Christian perspective: Christians
believe in one God. No true Bible believing Christian worships more than one
God, the creator of all things. Muslims don’t have a monopoly on monotheism. If
fact Muslims don’t take into account that Deuteronomy 6: 4 – which Jesus had
quoted from – specifically refers to God as Yahweh and Muslims don’t know God
    by that name.

    2. Jesus (pbuh) didn’t eat pork as taught in
Leviticus 11:7 and neither do Muslims as taught in the Qur’an verse 6:145.

    Christian
perspective: It’s true that Jesus didn’t eat pork as he was a Jew and kept the
law of Moses. However we see that he declared all food clean in Mark 7: 15 – 19
when he stated: “Nothing outside a man
can make him `unclean’ by going into him. Rather, it is what comes out of a man
that makes him `unclean.’” After he had left the crowd and entered the house,
his disciples asked him about this parable. “Are you so dull?” he
asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can
make him `unclean’? For it doesn’t go into his heart but into his stomach, and
then out of his body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods “clean.”)

    3. Jesus (pbuh) greeted with the words
“As-salaam alaikum” (Peace be with you), in John 20:21. Muslims also
    greet each other this way.

    Christian perspective: It’s true
that Jesus greeted with a greeting of peace however he intended that his
followers live in a way that they are at peace with each other (Mark 9: 50)
rather than merely greeting each other with a greeting of peace and then having
strife within the community or family. When he said that he did not come to
bring peace but a sword to turn a man against his father, etc. (Matthew 10: 34
    – 36) he was merely stating the outcome of what will happen when people turn to
him from their respective religions and become Christians. I have personally
witnessed people being persecuted and ostracised by their communities and
    families after becoming Christians.

    4. Jesus (pbuh) always said “God
Willing” (inshallah), Muslims say this too before doing anything as taught
    in the Qur’an verses 18:23-24.

    Christian perspective: Christians
believe in doing God’s will and not merely saying “God willing” even though
Christians do say that. Hence Muslims can’t claim a monopoly on this phrase.

    5. Jesus (pbuh) washed his face, hands, and
feet before praying. The Muslims do the same.

    Christian perspective: There
isn’t any particular reference in the Gospels of Jesus washing his face, hands
and feet before praying. Being a Jew he would have needed to do a ritual
washing if he became ritually unclean in anyway as under Mosaic Law. However it
wasn’t a necessity as wudhu is in Islam. Hence it is speculation and not fact
that Jesus did this before praying.

    6. Jesus (pbuh) and other prophets of the
Bible prayed with their head to the ground see (Matthew 26: 39).

Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verse 3:43.

    Christian
perspective: The verse quoted above is true but Jesus also prayed in other
    postures as well.

    He looked up
to heaven before multiplying the loaves of bread and before raising Lazarus
from the dead. Do Muslims pray like this?

    He sat and
gave the blessing (a prayer) at the last supper. Do Muslims sit and pray?

    Jesus stood
on the mountain and prayed where he was transfigured and spoke to Moses and
    Elijah.

    Christian
use all of these postures when praying.

    7. Jesus (pbuh) had a beard and wore a
throbe. It is Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same.

    Christian perspective: It’s
interesting to note that nowhere in the Gospels does it mention Jesus having a
beard. The only reason that we know that Jesus had a beard is because the
prophet Isaiah prophesied that his beard was to be plucked out. This doesn’t
exactly give much weight to a beard being of significant importance to Jesus.
As for a throbe! A throbe is an obscure term probably only used in Islamic
communities. The robe that Jesus wore was seamless (John 19: 23) so I hope that
all our Muslim friends only wear seamless robes if they consider themselves to
    be true followers of Jesus.

Emmanuel then mentions that it is
Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same. The Sunnah are the traditions and
practises of Muhammad. So are they following Jesus or Muhammad because there
are fundamental differences between them? Muhammad knew about Jesus who lived
600 years prior to him but Jesus didn’t know of Muhammad.

    Christians follow Jesus in what
he taught and commanded – love, forgiveness, etc. – and not in outer appearance
    and dress.

    8. Jesus (pbuh) followed the law and believed
in all the prophets, see (Matthew 5:17).

Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verses 3:84, and 2:285.

    Christian
perspective: Jesus’ emphasis in Matthew 5: 17 is on the fact that he came to
fulfil the law and not merely obey it although he did that perfectly which no
other person has ever been able to do. The Law and Prophets all pointed to him
and he was the culmination of them. Luke 24: 25 – 27 states: He
(Jesus) said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to
believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not the Christ have to suffer
these things and then enter his glory?” And beginning with Moses and all
the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures
    concerning himself.

Jesus also said in John 5: 39 – 40 You diligently study the Scriptures
because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the
Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

So Christians have a relationship with Jesus – the one
who fulfilled the law – rather that following the law that pointed to him.

    9. Jesus’ mother Maryam (pbuh) dressed
modestly by fully covering her body and wearing a headscarf (hijab) as found in
    1 Timothy 2:9, Genesis 24:64-65, and Corinthians 11:6.

Muslim women modestly dress the same as taught in the Qur’an verse 33:59.

    Christian perspective: Christians
do believe in modesty although we don’t require women to cover their heads. The
covering of the heads was a cultural necessity and not a religious requirement
if the complete passages quoted above are adhered to. I find a couple of things
interesting with the Muslims’ quotes. One the fact that Paul, whose authority
they normally so vehemently oppose, is suddenly quoted. Secondly verse 7 of 1
Corinthians 11 is conveniently ignored which states: “A man ought not cover his
head…” Will Muslim men then please make sure that you don’t wear your topis (tagiya
    / kufi) when you pray!

    10. Jesus (pbuh) and other prophets of the
Bible fasted up to 40 days see (Exodus 34:28, Daniel 10:2-6, 1Kings 19:8, and
    Matthew 4:1.

Muslims do so also during the month of Ramadan.

Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30 days (see Qur’an 2:183),
and others take it a step further by fasting an additional 6 days to increase
    their rewards.

    Christian perspective: Jesus
fasted for 40 days without eating at all and Moses fasted for 40 days without
eating or drinking anything. Hence if you want to follow Jesus literally in
every way then fasting should be done in this way and not only during daylight
hours after which everyone gorges themselves with a vast array of delicacies. Jesus
never commended the religious leader for fasting twice a week but rather
commended a tax collector who humbly confessed his sinfulness before God (Luke
    18: 9 – 14).

Hence although fasting is a good
thing Jesus rather looks at a humble heart before God. So fasting in itself
doesn’t necessarily demonstrate a following after Jesus.

    11. Jesus (pbuh) taught to say “Peace to
this house” when entering it see (Luke 10:5), and to also greet the people
in the house with “peace be unto you”. Muslims do exactly what Jesus
did and taught. When we enter our homes and the homes of others we say
“Bismillah” and also greet with “as salaamu alaikum” (peace
be upon you) as taught in the Qur’an verse 24:61.

    Christian perspective: As this is
the same point as number 3 above I’ve just copied the Christian perspective. It’s
true that Jesus greeted with a greeting of peace however he intended that his
followers live in a way that they are at peace with each other (Mark 9: 50)
rather than merely greeting each other with a greeting of peace and then having
strife within the community or family.

    12. Jesus (pbuh) was circumcised.
Circumcision is 1 of the 5 fitrah in Islam, so Muslim men are required to be
    circumcised.

According to the Bible in Luke 2:21, Jesus was eight days old when he was
circumcised. In the Torah, Allah/God stated to the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) that
it is an “Everlasting covenant” (see Genesis 17:13). In the Qur’an
verse 16:123 Muslims are required to follow the religion of Abraham. The
Prophet Muhammad (saws) said, “The Prophet Abraham circumcised himself
when he was eighty years old.” (see Sahih hadith Bukhari, Muslim, and Ahmad).

    Christian perspective:
Circumcision originated with Abraham as a sign of a covenant between God and
Abraham (Genesis 17: 11). This included the generations to come in both the
lines of Isaac (the nation of Israel through which Jesus came) and Ismael
(through which Muhammad is believed to have come). Jesus, being a Jew and
having Abraham as his forefather, was circumcised accordingly. However Jesus
ushered in a new covenant made not by circumcision but by his own blood
symbolised in the communion as demonstrated during his last supper with his
disciples. Luke 22: 20 “In the same way, after the supper he (Jesus) took the cup, saying,
“This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which
    is poured out for you.”

So true followers of Jesus aren’t bound to the covenant of circumcision but
by the new covenant of Jesus. A new covenant automatically nullifies a prior
covenant as with a last will. Christians
believe in Jesus and the new covenant with God made with the blood of Jesus and
hence don’t follow circumcision. Some do get circumcised, as I have been, but
that has got nothing to do with a covenantal relationship with God. So Muslims
have not understood what it really means to follow Jesus in this way.

    13. Jesus (pbuh) spoke Aramaic and called God
“Elah”, which is pronounced the same as “Allah”.

Aramaic is an ancient, Biblical language. It is one of the Semitic languages
that also include Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopic and the ancient Assyrian and
    Babylonian language of Akkadian.

The Aramaic “Elah” and the Arabic “Allah” are the same.

The Aramaic “Elah” is derived from the Arabic “Allah”, and
    it means “GOD”.

    “Allah” in Arabic also means
    “GOD”, the Supreme GOD Almighty.

You can easily see the similarity in their pronunciation so this concludes that
the God of Jesus is also the God of the Muslims, of all mankind, and all that
    exist.

    Christian perspective: Elah and
Allah are etymologically related as Aramaic and Arabic are both Semitic
languages. Besides this there are many words that are similar such as shalom
and salaam. However Elah is not derived from Allah. If a Christian is Aramaic
speaking he would call God “Elah” and Arabic Christians refer to God as “Allah”
as these aren’t names for God but general terms for God as “God” is in English,
“Dios” in Spanish etc. However, Jesus would have also referred to God by His
covenant name of Yahweh which Muslims don’t use.

Now tell me who is the real follower of Jesus
(pbuh)? Obviously NOT Muslims but Christians

Now I believe am a true follower of Jesus PBUH.

    -Emmanuel Adebayo

    I’m
sorry Emmanuel, but you’ve been deceived into thinking that you’re a true
believer of Jesus by misquoting and misinterpreting the Bible.

  • Carolyn

The comments by Christians on this article are kind of sad… I used to be Christian myself, and it’s pretty clear that either they don’t know how to interpret the Bible, or they don’t know how to accurately explain to someone how to interpret the Bible. One would think it would be incumbent upon a practicing Christian who is arguing scripture that he or she actually knows how to interpret it first.

    • Jeff

Agree sister- that shiws the Christians base their believe in Christianity on blind allegiance, not based on any rationale or reason. Its so sad as little knowledge of the faith is dangerous knowledge.

  • Sergei K

The shown “reasons” testify, that this person was extremely distant from christianity.

    • Adamantium_786

still he found the one god christians women always used to wear scarfs up until the 1900’s

  • Syed Qaisar Mehdi

Understanding all religions and then believing in any one of them makes a lot of difference in ones approach towards life.

  • Just Saying

jesus also supposedly said, ‘let he who is without sin cast the first stone’. yet muslims stone people to death.
this guy is truly a moron.

    • Jeff

Christians maybe dont stone people but they invade other peoples countries and killed civilians with bombs and bullets

      • Just Saying

        true.

  • YACIN HASSAN

I am reading and following all your discussion but I just wanna ask two questions to my Christian brothers and sisters. Why god need to come to the earth as a form of a man and suffer for our sins to forgive us when he can just forgive us without suffering because he is god and he can do anything?
And my second question is, we know all that god is the only one who is immortal, then if Jesus is god, why how it is possible that he died on the cross?

    • Sergei K

      1. The God has come to people Himself, not to forgive them – but to rescue them.
      2. Apparently, you know all that such life and that such death. You answer also – if people will be after death somewhere, means what they will be? How they will be, if they have died?
      (sorry for machine translation)

    • Just Saying

isn’t al-khidr immortal? where is jesus right now according to islam?

  • Jeff

Of fellow Christians- 13 reasons should be enough to follow Islam, the religion of Jesus as well as Moses and Abraham and others.

    • Just Saying

yes it is the religion of moses. and moses was a genocidal maniac, ordered to kill all the women and children of the midianites, save the virgin girls, by god.

  • Just Saying

yeah, the salafi follow the hanbali school mostly. so why do you say they are against the 4 schools?
you should go tell the muslims on loonwatch[dot]com and patheso[dot]com. they are always claiming that 2:256 means you don’t kill apostates. they ignore the 84th book of bukhari, and Muhammad’s saying, “whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him.”
you familiar with al-munajjid (I think that is how you spell it) the Saudi scholar on islamqa[dot]info/en (that is the English version, you may be able to read his Arabic)?
