23 ships laden with petroleum products, food items, to arrive Lagos ports

Twenty three ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive the Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from April 3 to April 23.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication – `Shipping Position’, – a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lagos.

NPA said that the 23 ships contained buck wheat, bulk gypsum, steel products, diesel, crude palm olein, soya bulk corn, base oil, frozen fish, petrol, bulk corn, empty containers and containers laden with goods.

The document noted that three ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser and petrol.

 

 

NAN reports that 25 other ships are at the ports discharging empty containers, bulk wheat, containers, frozen fish, bulk gypsum, aviation fuel, bag rice, soya beans, bilk gas, bulk fertiliser, bulk sugar, containers and petrol. (NAN)
