National Youth Wing of the Abia State Town Unions Association (ASTUA) has said that no political party should impose anybody in Abia State.

The President/Youth Leader of ASTUA, Ikenna James made this statement during the Associations Executive Meeting in Lagos tagged “Good Governance Advocacy Project.”

James said “All the union is asking for is a level playing field for all the governorship candidates. They should be given equal rights, so that the masses will vote for the right person. No political party will determine for us who will rule Abia State, rather we the masses will determine that. We need a governor that will emerge from the people’s votes and not an anointed one from the incumbent governor.”

He also commended Theodore Orji for ending the era of god-fatherism in the state.
