The Nigerian Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has left the country for the United Kingdom to meet with the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari.
The trip comes on the heels of the president’s continuous absence from the country.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had handed over to his vice president and travelled out of the country on May 7, 2017 for his medical treatment.
Confirming the Acting President’s trip to the United Kingdom, the Senior Assistant on Media and Publicity to the acting president, Laolu Akande took to his social media page on Twitter to make the disclosure.
The Acting President is however expected to return to Abuja immediately after meeting and briefing the ailing president.
