The Adamawa Executive Council on Wednesday approved a proposal for N10 billion as supplementary budget for 2017.

Dr Umar Bindir, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), announced this while addressing newsmen shortly after the council’s meeting in Yola.

Bindir said that the supplementary budget, with Paris club refunds, would complete the 2017 fiscal year.

He said that part of the funds would be used to settle backlog of emoluments to workers.

He said that the council adopted the Mid Term Expenditure Framework for 2018, 2019 and 2020.

He said that the Fiscal responsibility commission had already projected that the state would generate N160 billion in 2018.
