Bindow made the disclosure on Wednesday in Yola during the celebration of Eid-el-fitr in Government House.

“The state government will embark on massive road construction projects outside the state capital while the Kiri-Shelleng road construction will be flagged off after the Sallah celebration.

“Adamawa people should support the government with prayers and words of encouragement to enable this administration achieve its mandate.

“Within one year in office, we have been able to complete 46 road projects.

“The challenge is enormous due to economic crisis but we thank God for giving us the wisdom to achieve this feat,’’ he said.

Bindow said that the e-payment system of paying salaries to local government workers was sacrosanct.

According to him, the system will help to curb corrupt practices perpetrated in local government administration in the past.

Earlier, Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa, Speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly, commended the governor for his transparency and probity.

He also lauded the governor for the giant developmental stride he made within one year in office.
