Governor Rotimi Amaechi has summoned the Nigeria’s Governors Forum comprising all 36 governors of the Federation for a retreat in Sokoto.
The retreat which is to last two days will focus on Forensic examination of NNPC & FAAC; Leaving a sustainable legacy; Deepening democracy & federalism; Insecurity at the sub-national level; Constitutionalism, Rule of law &human rights.
Amaechi said, “We have lined up a number of very excellent professionals to guide this process.”
The letter of Invitation to the Governors which was signed by the Director-General, Asishana Okauru read, “Re: Retreat for Nigerian Governors,
“You are kindly invited to attend a 2-day Retreat for the 36 Governors to be hosted by the Sokoto State Governor scheduled as follows: Venue: Government House, Sokoto, Date: Friday 15th & Saturday 16th November, 2013. ”
