In-form Bayern Leverkusen forward, Javier Hernandez has been linked with a move back to the English Premier League, but this time to Arsenal.

According to Goal.com quoting a report by the Daily Star, Arsenal are planning to make a shock move for the 27-year-old Mexican international who already has 19 goals from 21 games few months into his first season at Leverkusen.

Chicharito, as the forward is popularly called, is reportedly being pursued by Arsenal to provide cover for Olivier Giroud and is believed to be keen on a return to the EPL.

He left Manchester United for Bayern Leverkusen in August 2015, in a deal reportedly in the region of £7.3 million having played on loan at Real Madrid between September 2014 and May 2015.

If a deal is struck, he will be re-uniting with former Manchester United teammate Danny Welbeck, who now plays for Arsenal
