Audio: Redeemed Pastor warns Nigerians not to vote against Jonathan in 2015

1 Min Read

In a compelling sermon, Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Emmanuel Bosun warns Nigerian Christians of the spiritual consequences of voting against President Goodluck Jonathan in the upcoming 2015 general elections.

Pastor Bosun who was a delegate representing Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) South West at the National Conference which held earlier this year, said Christians who were ready to vote for the All Progressives Congress in the 2015 elections were only subscribing to the Islamic agenda for Nigeria, and were digging the grave of Christianity in Nigeria.

In the incredible sermon, the Pastor warns Nigerians of a similar occurrence that plagued Turkey happening to Nigeria if care was not taken.

He also warned of Sharia being enshrined in the Federal constitution of Nigeria, and the APC being on a mission to find expression for the Islamic laws already enshrined in the constitution.

  • who is a true man of God? I guess this pastor needs some million dollars from Jonathan. who is he? Is he God? you will live to witness Buhari’s victory.

  • If you ask me, this is a baseless sentiment. Nigerians knew the spiritual implications when they voted massively for a Muslim/Muslim ticket in 1993. What you are sayiing in essence is that you doubt your fellow pastor’s ability to defend christainity if elected VP. Like it or yes, the constitution is unequivocally clear on the religous neutrality of Nigeria. For this to be changed, the assembly must approve. This can be done with or without the president’s signature. What we should be watchful of are those we elect to the National Assembly; if there is a need to worry!

  • Pls don’t bring religion to politics. In 2011,we Muslims and Christians(especially in d south) voted for Jonathan,u didn’t bring in religion then. Now that we Muslims and Christians want to vote for Buari now,u then bring in religion, its unfair and God will judge u accordingly. We all just want change. We can’t continue to live like this.We all have seen what Jonathan has done, like increase in petrol in new year, petroleum cabals not brought to justice,d sack of sanusi bcus he pointed out corruption in some areas, immigration crisis, plot to remove speaker, state pardon for alamasia, money used for his feeding and wetting grass and many more e.t.c.U can see that i haven’t talked about boko haram @all bcus i know that is what he is saying is affecting his tenure/regime.Just as wole soyinka did say, anybody dat vote for Jonathan is either religion clouded or ethnically clouded. So forget about religion.Thank God d vice of buari is a Christian and a strong one indeed. In all,i pray for a better Nigeria.God bless our country(Nigeria).

  • This audio was released long before this contest and he is not talking about vote pattern, he is talking about a more important thing that we need wisdom to understand. He is not instilling fear into anyone, he was clear about his objectives from the beginning of the message. Don’t reduce his message to just vote pattern.
