Former Deputy National Chairman (South West) of the PDP, Chief Olabode George has withdrawn from the bid to become the National Chairman of the party.
George’s withdrawal comes a day to the National Convention of the party scheduled for Saturday.
He made this known while addressing journalists at his campaign headquarters in Abuja on Friday.
He based his withdrawal on alleged desecration of the race with money.
Before his withdrawal, the retired military officer was one of the top contenders for the position.
