Buhari returns to Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria after eight days abroad after visiting both the United Kingdom and the United States.

 

Buhari arrived the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 7 pm on Monday and was received at the airport by his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Muhammad Bello, the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, among other dignitaries.

 

 

Buhari left the country on Sunday, September 17 to attend the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. He left New York for London where he spent about four days before returning to Nigeria.

 

Buhari was rumored to have travelled to London for medical reasons.
