American singer, Thomas DeCarlo Callaway popularly known as CeeLo Green has reacted to the viral video of a cellphone explosion which surfaced online yesterday.
According to the viral video, the American singer’s phone suddenly went up in flames as it exploded while he was making calls.
The disturbing footage has however sparked major reactions within the online community and in reaction, CeeLo has issued an official statement dissociating himself from the video which he regarded as a ‘hoax’.
CeeLo took to his social media page on Instagram to address his fans and well wishers
“I just want to let everybody know that I am alive, that I’m well, and I’m OK,” he said in the video.
“Truthfully, I’m really upset that anybody had to be emotionally disturbed by what they saw today. What you saw today was a clip from a smaller video that we were shooting for a new project I’m doing called Gnarly Davidson. It’s supposed to set up […] and introduce the new character identity. […] I want to thank everybody for their love and support and concern.”
