Ever wondered what a bizarre mash up involving Chelsea FC and Avatar would look like?

Probably not – but thanks to a new promotion from Adidas – now you know.

Chelsea players John Terry, Juan Mata and David Luiz were among those who covered themselves in paint in order to promote Chelsea’s new kit which Adidas says, is “blue, what else matters?”

Others who featured in the campaign were Fernando Torres, Oscar, Gary Cahill and Demba Ba.

The stunning images and accompanying film are intended to show the passion and commitment Chelsea players have for their club – and encourage fans to do similar by pre-ordering the new strip unseen.
