Chief Justice of Bayelsa State’s son dies In Swimming Pool

One Mr. Wariebi, who happens to be the son of the Chief Justice of Bayelsa State, Justice Kate Abiri, has been reported dead in less than normal circumstances.

The location of his death was said to be at an undisclosed swimming pool in Abuja.

Mr. Seriake Dickson, Governor of Bayelsa state discussed the matter in a statement signed on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson.

In the statement, it was revealed that Wariebi had died in a swimming pool on Friday. Wariebi had been a graduate of law and a student of the Nigerian Law School, Abuja.

Dickson stated that it was a terrible tragedy to lose the boy at such a young age and he promised that the state government would cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies to get to the bottom of the death.

He also said that Wariebi had been a fine young man who would have made an amazing lawyer.

He added that his demise remained a painful loss to the Abiri family and the state in general.

“As a Government, be rest assured that, we will stand with you shoulder to shoulder in this very very challenging period, especially in working with the Police and other relevant agencies of the Government to unearth the real cause of his death”, he said.
