In the wake of the killing of an elderly lady in Kano for alleged blasphemous statements, another incident has taken place today.
A 41 year old man, Francis Emmanuel, was Stabbed by about 6 youths in a restaurant in Kaduna for not fasting.
It is the Ramadan period when Muslims fast for the duration of a month.
The man was rushed to St. Gerald Catholic Hospital about a kilometre from Sokoto Street, Kakuri, where the incident happened where on hearing about the incident he was visited by governor of the state, Nasir El-Rufai.
The governor vowed that the culprits would be caught and brought to justice.
The victim who almost lost an arm fending off attacks stated that he was just having his lunch when the youths descended on him and accused him for not fasting.
