American comedian and actor, Chris Rock has finalised his divorce from his wife, Malaak Compton-Rock.
The single man finalised the process on Monday before a New Jersey judge.
Recall that the couple who had been married for nearly 20-years announced their divorce in 2014 and have since been working on the details of their separation which includes child support and the divorce settlement.
The document’s delayed signing and finalisation is also due to the issue of child support on a child whom his ex-wife, Compton-Rock said the family had raised as their own for years.
The 50-year-old Chris Rock in his original divorce document which was filed on Dec. 23, 2015 stated that the couple have just two children together.
Compton-rock however stated that in addition to their two children, there is a child “who has resided with the parties since before her first birthday” in her counter-claim.
According to TMZ, the details of the divorce has been sealed off thereby sealing all details including child support off.
