Daura Youth commend FG for exiting economic recession

The Daura Emirate Chapter of Amalgamated Political Associations (APDA) has commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration for taking Nigeria out of economic recession.

Alhaji Ali Rabe, the Chairman of the association, made the commendation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Daura, Katsina State, on Wednesday.

Rabe said that the open door policy and engagement of experts in the business of governance as well as the anti-graft crusade of the government tremendously contributed to the feat.

He lauded the consistency, resilience, determination and commitment of current leadership which led to the exit of the country from recession.

The association chairman described the recent arrival of President Buhari in Daura to celebrate Eid-el Kabir as `morale booster’ to Nigerians, especially supporters of the APC and other well-wishers.

He said the seven days spent by the President in Daura had enhanced political loyalty, brotherhood and raised the hope of residents, adding that “we are grateful to the President.’’

Rabe said that during the visit, the President met with different “shades of opinions” like youth associations, politicians, clerics and his blood relations.

NAN reports that the amalgamation comprised of 42 associations which cut across the five local government areas of Daura, Sandamu, Maiadua, Zango and Baire.

The association said it was working tirelessly to sensitize the public on policies and programmes of Buhari’s administration.
