Popular entertainer, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj denies allegations concerning the legal and alleged financial trouble he is in.

Speaking with Olisa Adibua on his show ‘The Truth with Olisa’,

D’banj was asked to shed light on widespread rumours of his financial businesses ‘gone wrong’ and lawsuits, he responded saying, nothing of the sort existed.

“I don’t know what’s going on. I can gladly tell you that one is a lie. I don’t owe anyone money. I don’t owe them money. If you need money, you go to the bank”

“I’m disappointed in the press people, a few of them. Defamation of character is the worst anyone can do. I don’t want to talk because that’s what they want me to do. They said I’m owing money so I’m waiting to go to the court”

D’banj further explained that his lawyers have told him not to say anything since it’s a ‘rumour.

“But for me, it’s negative. It’s a business venture; they’ll settle themselves in court. It’s so painful if know that you’re such a huge brand that God has blessed and you’re in the public eye, that the best thing to do is defamation of character. I fell that’s the poorest thing you can do as a businessman”

D’banj further went on to say the last two years have been ‘the best years of his life’.
