D’Banj the Koko Master earlier today shared a throwback picture of himself with Kanye West and the G.O.O.D music crew during a video shoot for multi award winning single “Mercy” off the Cruel Summer album which he featured in as a member of the record label in 2012.
He captioned it, “no be today.”
D’Banj made headlines continent wide when it was announced he was signed with the Hip Hop label donned by Kanye West and it has gone on to become a highlight in the the career of the 2015 MAMA Evolution award winner.
This also marked the start of a end of an era for the artiste as his relationship with ex-business partner, Don Jazzy broke down irretrievably presumably as a result of the move. While he moved on solo with his DKM Music label, Don Jazzy also went to start Mavin Records.
