It was morning, with my friends, relaxing over a cup of tea,as usual discussing the unfortunate events that has engulfed the country lately,commending the efforts of some few sane Nigerians who have taken it as a responsibility to salvage Nigerians from chains when we saw on channels -a statement by the special adviser to the President on media and publicity ,Mr Femi Adesina concerning PB’s return.
Alhamdulilah!! We shouted at once,almost like we have been rehearsing it. At long last the “lion king” is returning back to her jungle to continue to oppress the lower animals in the kingdom and the few hyenas eating the left overs will lead a cheering and applauding lesser animals who barely even get carcass to feed on.
Then came the crowd of palace clowns and jesters,probably being mobilized with a sum of a thousand naira only (#1000). Once you, as a leader begins to surround yourself with jesters and clowns,you are obviously heading for the icebergs.
“Haba! Hafeez,are you telling me these guys will be out there under the scorching sun to welcome Baba for just a thousand naira? ” querried one of my friend.
“If not for something,I would have doubted if the money would be up to a thousand Naira” my response.
So I Bagan to ask my self- “what in the world is wrong with these human beings called Nigerians”, they take joy in celebrating mediocrity and masturbate at every mention of the name Buhari and his innefectual buffoons called APC.
“Common my friend,wallahi even the crowd back then when Dame patience Jonathan arrived from the shores of Germany for treatment was a 100% more than this”
The same Almajaris you see today were all over the city of Abuja to celebrate the coming of mama peace,the FCT had gone agog and Nnamdi Azikiwe int’l airport shut down for supporters and sympathizers alike” so when next people come to give us the false narratives of how popular baba is,Remember that for hunger sake,people will sell their birth rights.
Same Almajiris the Presence of PB has impoverished,kept out of schools and nearly a 10m of them are savages living at the mercy of hunger and malnutrition are still out their applauding him. Then you begin to wonder the kind of spell Baba has casted on them.
Have you noticed that the only defence line the APC and Baba has got is to keep playing the blame game? PB is a monumental failure!!
“So this APC thing was a scam after all”
“Ahn ahn! Are you just knowing?”
“Walahi I thought the presence of baba would eventually bring about the much needed “change” ”
“Mutimina, ka bar’ magana kowei,mutan’en na’n basu sen abun da su ke yì ba”
That was when it dawn on my friend that these whole noise was about self interest and aggrieved persons wanting to have a taste of power.
Now that PB is back,what next ?
A country ravaged by poverty,insecurity,hunger, nearly 5.3million jobs lost and inflation has hit double digits,what has baba got to show for it except that the bunch of clueless,confused and inept folks around him be dishing out monumental lies here and there.
Nigerians however are special breeds,the once that will take solace in the face of obvious failure all in the name of “sentiments” and petty emotional attachments. Nigeria and Nigerians have never had it this bad,well except for the first coming of Baba (1985), history don’t lie, Buhari grounded the country and plunged the economy into quagmire,same thing we are experiencing right about now yet the people will even dance naked at the market square.
Can you see that an average Nigerian is stupid and cursed?
PB Should stop galavanting round the world and stay here to fix what he has destroyed.
“Ama Baba yana da integrity faa”
“Inte… what? How Can you claim to have integrity and you surround yourself with people of questionable characters and thieves? ”
Look at the people that welcomed baba at the airport yesterday, nothing special except for the usual misfits that called themselves APC governors,some -I heard can’t and have not paid salaries for up to 16months. If he (PB) has got the so called integrity, he would have distant himself with “penrobbers”.
In a saner clime,baba should have resigned and face his detororiating health, but this is Nigeria where everything goes and people can’t even differentiate bad from good as a result of “he is my brother” syndrome.
I have come to conclusion that Baba waves some sort of magical wand to keep majority of Nigerians spellbound, however the few reasonable ones that have excaped the spell must continue to hold the leaders accountable and at all times demand good governance.
