American Rapper and businessman, Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy has added ‘educator’ to the list of his accolades.
The rapper on Monday stunned students and all in attendance at the opening of his school with a rousing speech.
Diddy’s new school, the new charter school, Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School was co-founded in his old Harlem neighborhood, New York.
During the speech, Diddy said: “Great schools and great education make a big difference.”
He continued: “Unfortunately, too many people don’t get the opportunity to succeed, no matter how hard they try. This is leveling the playing field here at Capital Prep.”
Speaking on the opening, the school’s co-founder, Steve Perry said: “The advantages (of having a celebrity like Combs) are clear.
“Mr. Combs has made a significant commitment to this.”
