The 7th and 8th Assembly has lost a Lawmaker to death.
The Lawmaker, Hon. Musa Baba Onwana, representing Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency of Nasarawa state described as a hardworking man died on Thursday at the age of 50.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara in a tribute to the deceased Lawmaker said the House had lost a hardworking, committed an dedicated colleague.
Dogara, in a statement issued by his spokesman, Turaki Hassan said; “Hon. Onwana was a patriot and a true Nigerian who was always championing the cause of his people in the House. We have lost a hardworking, committed and dedicated colleague and our hearts go to his immediate family, constituents, government and people of.Nasarawa State.
“I pray that almighty God grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
The deceased was a candidate of the All Progressive Congress, serving his second term in the house after being re-elected into the house in 2015.
