Donald Trump Is The 45th President Of the United States

In what is certainly going to be reported for decades as an unexpected turnaround, Donald J. Trump has become the President of the United States of America.

The Republican Candidate received a call from Hillary Clinton who conceded the election after losing out in key battle states.

There have been scenes from the United states as Clinton supporters have shown their dismay for the result with many looking shell shocked at the results.

Trump has not been the popular choice with many not even giving him a chance for victory, but even with his left field campaign strategy, his alienating manner of speech and his perceived bigotry, he has defeated the odds and emerged America’s president.

Demographics show that a large number of people above the age of 40 voted Trump with many of the younger generation pro-Hillary.

The closely contested election saw Trump win by 48% of the votes with 57 million votes to Hillary’s 47% and 56 million votes.

The repercussions of this decision will be huge and widespread and over the next couple of days, a few of them will become evident.

Trump at the time of writing this post is giving his victory speech thanking Americans for putting him in office.
