Porto winger Christian Atsu has completed a move to Chelsea after completing his medical. The player has signed a five-year deal, the player will be shipped out on loan to Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem immediately.
The 21-year-old had also attracted interest from Tottenham and Liverpool but his preferred choice had always been with the Europa League Champions.
The winger has made 29 appearances for FC Porto of which he has scored one goal and made four assists. He has also scored 3 goals in 16 appearances for the Ghanian National team.
The player posted a tweet from his twitter account (@ChristianAtsu20) which says: “ Blue is the colour, I’d like to thank my family and advisors for all the support Big season ahead. #cfcGh @ Vitesse”.
