Eagles Bonanza Continues As Imoke Donates Lands, N25 million

Governor of Cross Rivers Liyel Imoke has splashed choice plots of land and a N25 million cash gift on the Super Eagles for winning the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Governor also gave the sum of N5 million to the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF. Not left out from the largesse is an indigene of the state, Peter Edibe, the only Nigerian match official at  the AFCON 2013.

Governor Imoke during the reception demonstrated how he watched the final against Burkina Faso on his Samsung phone via ESPN4 while in the USA.

The Federal Government, some states governments and private individuals gave cash rewards and land as gifts to the Eagles after Nigeria won the Nations Cup in South Africa in February.
