Two members of the main opposition party, All Progressives Congress have been accused by a cross section of Nigerians of sponsoring and politicizing the protests held over the past 29 days to find the missing Chibok girls.
The accusations and counter accusations began when former FCT Minister, Nasir El Rufai posted an article on his Facebook Wall alleging an assault on #bringbackourgirls protesters by hired thugs.
The article entitled ‘And finally, they Attacked Us: The Site, the Message and the Diversion’ and written by Dr. Jibrin Ibrahim called for more protests and accused the Jonathan administration of suppressing protesters exercising their constitutional rights to protest.
It called on Nigerians to assemble tomorrow at Abuja by 3pm for further protests.
However in the comments section of the article, a cross section of Nigerians expressed their disapproval of what they termed an “APC misinformation campaign”.

“Is the bring back our girls message supposed to be directed at the Presidency or the terrorists who have been terrorizing us in this country, taking away our peace. I am not a Jonathanian like you Mr.Nasir El-Rufai would always call anyone who does not agree with your posts but I think all this absurdity and gutter politics you people play at the expense of innocent Nigerians, God will surely bring all of you politicians from both side who have destroyed Nigeria to book. Instead of helping the president to fight insurgency, old men like yourself and your ilk will only come on facebook to cause confusion. I used to respect madam Oby but where was she when this same boko haram was burning Churches and murdering innocent children. The governor that refused to listen to the advise of the education minister and allowed exams to hold in a dangerous zone without providing security, why are you guys not directing your useless protest at him? Innocent Nigerians are dying everyday in the North and yet all you can think of is posting the shortcomings of our president.”

Anti-GEJ govt. You people are doing as if the president kidnap those kids. This things u people are starting in this country as if the country only belong to islam, even if gej fails to be the president come 2015 this country would still be ungovernable for anyone or faction who’s gona emerge coz the sleeping dog has already been awake.
