The Nigerian Football Federation’s hope of re-inviting the former Super Eagles goalkeeper and team captain, Vincent Enyeama along with Emmanuel Emenike may have just been cut short as both players have declined revisiting their earlier decision to retire from the National Team.

Vincent Enyeama, despite the resignation of Sunday Oliseh, the former Coach of the Super Eagles has revealed that he will rather focus on his club side, Lille of France.

Recall that Vincent Enyeama’s decision to retire from the National team was after an altercation with the former Coach, Sunday Oliseh who dethroned him as team captain of the Super Eagles.

Also, Emmanuel Emenike has also ruled out the possibility of returning to the National Team. He had announced his retirement also after a fall out with Oliseh.

Despite Oliseh’s exit from the picture, these retired Nigerian players in their prime have decided to stick with their earlier decision and stay retired from the National team.
