Etisalat Announces Data Plans For BlackBerry 10 Users, Data Caps On Internet

Following the recent global launch of BlackBerry’s latest device, Etisalat Nigeria has announced the availability of BlackBerry Z10 devices at its Experience Centres nationwide. In addition to making the device available, the company has also introduced four new unlimited BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) data plans exclusive to BlackBerry Z10 users.

Disclosing this in Lagos, Director, Products and Services, Etisalat Nigeria, Mr Lucas Dada said customers who pre-booked the BlackBerry Z10 via Etisalat’s pre-booking portal online can now visit any of the Etisalat Experience Centers close to them to redeem their devices.

Giving further details, Mr Dada said Etisalat customers based in Lagos can pick up their new BlackBerry Z10 at the Palms Mall, Lekki and at Ikeja Mall. Customers based in the North can visit Silverbird Mall, Abuja or Kano Mini Centre on Audu Bako Way, while customers in the Southwest region, can visit Port Harcourt flagship on Aba Road.

In addition to the new BlackBerry Z10 device being easily accessible to its customers, he said, Etisalat is also providing them with a seamless internet experience on its -3.75G broadband internet, Eazyblaze. “To satisfy our customers, we have also introduced our bouquet of Unlimited BBM plans for the newly-released BlackBerry Z10. These plans are backed by the power of the super-fast Eazyblaze service,” he said.

The plans consist of the BlackBerry 10 Lite Plan which comes with 200MB, BlackBerry 10 Mid Plan with 360MB, BlackBerry 10 Max Plan which comes with 1GB and BlackBerry 10 Max+ Plan with 1.5GB. The new data plans give customers the opportunity to have access to their BlackBerry Messenger all through the month even after the data plan they have subscribed for expires.
