A man, his wife and one other are facing criminal charges after beating and tying up a man who allegedly came to have sexual relations with their 13-year-old daughter.

Canadian police, or Mounties, came to the scene to find the alleged molester tied up and beaten. They then released the man and informed the people involved in catching him that they would be arrested on charges of assault and bodily harm.

The aggrieved mother took to Facebook live to share some footage. She said; “He come to my house to meet my 13-year-old f***ing daughter to f***k her. He wanted to be her first,” the woman behind the camera can be heard saying. “We f***ing tackled him and zap strapped him and called the police.”

According to CTV news, the mother said that she noticed her daughter was getting explicit comments on her Instagram account and she tried to get police involved but they refused to listen.

“They wouldn’t even look at my phone. They just said to block him and forget it,” she said. “I’ve been waiting for six weeks for the police to give me a name behind the Instagram account.”

Seeing no way out, she then posed as her daughter and lured the man to the house under the pretext that they would have sex.

“I just didn’t know what else to do,” she said. “I knew that Friday’s coming…and if it is who I thought it was, then he needed to be stopped.”

She confronted the man and he was beaten up and tied.

In the Facebook live video, the woman ended the feed saying; “I’m arrested because we caught a predator the police refused to catch,”

While the police have said nothing about the video, they did state that they had been investigating the man in question but that the woman’s act of vigilanteism might have compromised the investigation.

“The police had directed her not to take matters into her own hands, that we were investigating it, She was directed not to make the meet happen.”

“Vigilante actions like these are not only illegal and put people in danger, but they also have the potential to compromise the original investigation, It hasn’t resolved one issue—it’s caused another and put people in danger, everybody.”
