There might be a feud brewing between 2 of the women in President Trump’s life as first lady Melania Trump lashed out at his first wife Ivana over some statements she made.
Ivana who is the mother of Ivanka and is currently trying to sell her memoirs, Raising Trump, in an interview with ABC made a joke in which she referred to herself the ‘First Lady’.
She said; “I have the direct number to White House but I don’t really want to call him there because Melania is there, and I don’t really want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I’m basically first Trump wife, OK? I’m first lady, OK?” she told ABC, with a laugh.
Melania was clearly unimpressed as she released a statement in which she said that Ivana was an attention seeker.
The statement read in part; “Mrs. Trump has made the White House a home for Barron (Trump’s youngest son) and the president,”
“She loves living in Washington, DC, and is honored by her role as First Lady of the United States.”
“She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books,”
“There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex. This is unfortunately only attention-seeking and self-serving noise.”
Melania is President Trump’s 3rd wife with Ivana being the first and Maples the second.
