A 54-year-old father raped his gay teenage daughter to prove to her that having sex with men was better than with women.
According to online sources, he was said to have been tremendously angry after his 16-year-old daughter told him she was ‘struggling her sexual identity’ and raped her.
He was found guilty of rape, indecent assault and jailed for 21 years.
It was also worth mentioning that the man had raped two of his daughter over the course of two decades, the Coventry Telegraph reports.
Judge Andrew Lockhart said: “As a 16-year-old girl, she realized she was gay and, struggling with her identity as many people do at that age, she decided to tell you.
“You reacted by showing real and uncontrolled anger, and you decided to rape her to show her why it would be better to have sex with men than women. Her evidence made harrowing listening.
“That rape involved degradation and humiliation. The offence demonstrated your hostility towards her as a lesbian.
