American hip hop artist, Cardi B, 25, has broken Lauryn Hill’s record for the longest running No.1 song by a female rapper.

Lauryn Hills record was set way back in 1998 with her solo single “Doo Wop (that thing)”.

Cardi B’s debut singer, Bodak Yellow has topped the billboard chart for the third week in a row.

The single also became the first number 1 record with no features since Lauryn Hill 1998.

Bodak Yellow is now tied with Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” as the longest running female at the number one spot on the charts in 2017
