For the umpteenth time, the outlawed terrorist sect, Boko Haram on Sunday killed four people and wounded 14 others in a suicide attack in the flashpoint area of Lake Chad.

According to a security source in the Chadian capital N’Djamena, “The two women suicide bombers and two civilians died in the blast.”

The source further told AFP on condition of anonymity, adding that 14 others were injured in the attack blamed on the Boko Haram sect on Ngouboua village near the Nigerian border.

The village has suffered repeated attacks by Boko Haram jihadists since they first launched operations in Chad in February.

Suicide bombings — many by women and girls — are fast becoming Boko Haram’s preferred method of inflicting civilian casualties.

The deadliest attack on Chad’s side of the lake took place on October 10, when three suicide attacks at Baga Sola killed 41 people, according to the Chadian government.
