The final shortlist of three for the 2015 FIFA Ballon D’Or has been announced and the three players are based in Spain.
While treble-winning Barcelona produced two in Lionel Messi and Neymar, their arch rival, Real Madrid produced star striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
The FIFA Ballon D’Or is awarded to the Best Player in the game of football, at a gala to be held in January.
Neymar, who has been firing on all cylinders this season, is the only new face among the trio, as the other two – Messi and Ronaldo – have combined to win the last seven editions of the awards.
