First Lady, Aisha Buhari Opens Up On President Muhammadu Buhari’s Health

Coming after the president, Muhammadu Buhari resumed office after taking some days off to attend to his health challenges, the first lady of the federation, Aisha Buhari has opened up on her husband’s health.

Recall that the president had in January made a medical trip to the United Kingdom, one which lasted 51 days as he reveled that he might have to return for further medical checks.

Coming after a report surfaced online alleging that a cabal within the presidency is stopping the president from traveling out to properly attend to his health as he has not been able to drink and feed save through intravenous means, the first lady took to her social media page on Twitter to reveal that the president’s health is not as bad as it has been painted to be.

She wrote: “I thank all Nigerians for their concern, love and prayers over my husband’s health status.

“I wish to inform everyone that his health is not as bad as it’s being perceived,Meanwhile he continues to carry out his responsibilities during this period. As it may come to your notice, he is meeting with Minister of Justice and GMD of NNPC this evening.

Long Live Nigerians, Long Live Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
