Fulani Herdsmen clear out of Enugu after Massacre

It has been reported that the Fulani Herdsmen and some petty traders have fled Enugu following Monday’s horrific attack on Nimbo Community in Uzo Uwani Local Government  of Enugu state.

Sellers of carrots, suya meat, sugar canes, onions, electronics as well as those engaged in nail cutting among other menial jobs who are Hausa and Fulani have deserted the towns and villages.

They have reportedly joined some herdsmen in the bushes around Amalla in Udenu Local Government and Umuogbo Agu and Ette border in Igboeze North Local Government areas of the state.

The herdsmen had moved their cattle out of Adani in Uzo Uwani and other parts of the state before the Monday’s attack maybe following a tipoff of the coming attack.
