Governor Obi’s services needed at the National Level – Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan has publicly invited Governor Peter Obi to join his government at the National Level.

The invitation was made known by Supervising Minister of Education, Chief Nyesom Wike, who represented President Goodluck Jonathan at the unveiling of facilities to be distributed to schools within the state.

The facilities include 25,000 computers, 100 buses and 450 50KVA generators.

The Governor said the facilities were to help the State achieve the Millennium Development Goals by 2015.

Governor Obi said, “We are offering a total package to our schools.  The generators will power the computers.  We have trained special computer teachers for proficiency in the subject.

“We have also provided boreholes, Internet facilities, Microsoft Academics, Laboratory equipment to schools in the State.  The results of the effort have started to manifest in the performance of our people in external examinations.”
