France was again rocked by an attack in the town of Nice as a truck plowed into a crowd of people as they celebrated Bastille day, killing over 80 people and injuring scores of others.
The people of Nice had come out to celebrate Bastille day. Bastille day is a French national holiday that celebrates the storming of the Bastille in 1789 which turned out to be a pivotal event in French history.
It turned sour when a French-Tunisian man plowed through the crowd of people with a 25 tonne truck for about a mile before coming out and shooting at the crowd killing even more people.
The event has been viewed with horror all over the world as more and more scenes have surfaced on the internet.
French President Fracois Hollande has described the attack as one of a terrorist nature.
