Five fresh human heads were discovered in the residence of former Special Adviser to the immediate past Chairman of Mangu local government area of Plateau State, Alhaji Saleh Abershi, who is also a representative of the Fulani in Mangun ward.
It was gathered that following a security tip off, a group of police and military men stormed the residence of the community leader in Mangum village at about 10:26 a.m.
Upon their arrival, a thorough search was conducted which led to the shocking discovery. Five human heads were hidden in the ceiling of one of the rooms in the compound; also some arms and ammunition were discovered in the premises.
It was learnt that Abershi was forced to pack the human heads and ammunition into the waiting Hi-lux van by the combined team of the police and military men who carried out the exercise after which he was taken to Jos, the state capital .
Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the local government, Mr. Ifa Shikben, who confirmed Abershi’s arrest, said that five human heads were picked from the house.
