I Can Go To Real Madrid Soon – Eden Hazard

Chelsea star, Eden Hazard has refused to rule out a move to Spanish giants, Real Madrid, saying anything could happen in football.

He made this known in a recent interview with Spanish sport paper Marca. 

One of world’s and Premier League’s top players, the 27-year-old earlier this week got the award of best Belgian footballer player abroad in 2017, beating the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, Dries Mertens and Thibaut Courtois.

Asked if he saw himself playing for the 12-time UEFA Champions League winners, he said,  “In football you never know, I’m happy in Chelsea and focused on them.”

He equally said he was not moved by Barcelona’s recent form in all competitions, stressing that the Champions League round-16 match between both teams would be tougher than expected.

Hazard added, “Well, very good. It’s a great Champions League game. This season we haven’t been the same as last season, of course, and they are clearly very good, but at the end of the day it is a knock-out tie and you never know what might happen. That’s why we love football. I’m sure that we can beat them if we play together, we will see.”
