Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi is allegedly happier without Neymar and knew the Brazilian would cause problems for PSG, the Express reports.
PSG recently acquired the former Barcelona star, Neymar for a whopping transfer fee of $222M.
He has so far been involved in 10 goals in only 6 appearances, scoring 5 goals and providing 5 assists.
The 25-year-old forward has been the subject of headlines in France for multiples clashes with a teammate, Edinson Cavani over set-piece duties.
Spanish outlet Diario Gol says Messi always thought controversies would befall Neymar once he decided to move over to France.
Messi is reportedly unsurprised by Neymar’s appetite to cause disruption based on how much he wanted to become Barcelona’s number one man.
The Barcelona forward is reportedly happier without his former team-mate. He already has nine (9) goals in just five (5) games for Barcelona.
The latest clash between Neymar and his new teammate, Cavani happen during the 2-0 win over Lyon. The pair clashed twice during the course of the match, an initial clash over who would take a free-kick and the other over a spot-kick.
Although both chances were missed, the pair was again reported to have started another disagreement in the locker-room.
