The infamous mastermind kidnapper in Delta State Anthony Ogbalor also popularly known as Dracula, has died in police custody in Asaba, on the 17th of January 2018.
CSP Aniete Eyo the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the B’ Division Warrisuccessfullyy led an allied team of security operatives on a raid to rescue a couple, a pastor Frank Otomi and Mrs. Mofe Otomi from Dracula’s clutches. On June 23th 2017 at the DSC Roundabout, Dracula was arrested.
He has been charged for various other crimes aside from the kidnapping. During interrogation he is alleged to have taken a mortal wound at the State Police Command in Asaba, where he was transferred after his arrest.
Dracula later died on Wednesday night from the injury. His body has been moved to a morgue.
