It’s been Five very long years since Captain Jack Sparrow sailed across our Cinema Screens.
The first trailer for the 5th Pirates of the Caribbean movie, Dead Man Tell No Tales, has been released and the Central character played by Johnny Depp is very much absent.
We only get a glimpse of him in a poster.
The trailer instead features two new additions, Brenton Thwaites and Javier Barden who plays the ghost pirate searching for Sparrow, and breaks into jail to demand of Brenton, Jacks whereabouts.
The omission of Depp is a surprise as previous movie successes have always centered around the actor.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is due for release on the 26th of May 2017 in the UK, US and Australia.
