Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho is expected to land the Manchester United managerial role as current boss, Louis van Gaal is expected to get the sack at the end of the current league season, The Sun reports.
According to the report, the 53-year-old’s representatives are already in talks with the club’s representatives concerning a possible summer move to Old Trafford.
Mourinho is believed to have rejected big-money consultancy roles in China in favour of remaining in the Premier League, especially now that Pep Guardiola is set to take over as coach of Manchester City in the summer.
Also, it was revealed that Mou, who was sacked by Chelsea in December following a poor run of form, has twice rejected a return to Spanish giants, Real Madrid.
