Keshi to continue coaching Eagles temporarily

1 Min Read

Amidst the unresolved negotiation between Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi and Nigerian Football Federation, reports claim he (Keshi) is currently in Nigeria and we gathered that he will temporarily coach the Eagles and prepare them for two AFCON qualifier matches next month.

Nigeria will now face Congo’s Red Devils in Calabar on September 6 after their conquerors Rwanda were disqualified for using  an
ineligible player, after which the Eagles will fly to Cape Town to take on South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

Keshi led the Super Eagles to claiming the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations Cup in South Africa, and also to a place in the round of 16 at the
2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
