Kwara Set to Hold One Day Conference on Community Health Insurance

Kwara State Government is set to hold a One Day Conference on Community Health Insurance Research and Advocacy.

According to a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary, State Ministry of Health, Alhaji A.R. Ayinla, the conference will highlight the success story of the Community Health Insurance Scheme in Kwara State.

The one day conference which is expected to be declared open by the state governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed on 21st July 2015 will hold at Kwara Hotels Ilorin.

Participants expected at the conference include representatives of the World Bank, Department for International Development (DFID), National Health Insurance Scheme and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of the Dutch Health Insurance fund, Permanent Secretaries, State Ministries of Health and other stakeholders.

Kwara State Community Health Insurance Scheme is an initiative of the State government and collaboration with Pharm Access foundation and Hygeia Community Health Insurance Scheme.
