Late Nollywood Actress, Moji Olaiya’s Daughter Demands Mother’s Body To Be Returned To Nigeria

Following the death of Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya in Canada, there has been a major development as to the burial rites.

The burial arrangement for the Nollywood actress who died yesterday in Canada has sparked major controversy owing to the actress’ conversion to Islam from Christainity during her adult life.

Certain members of her family are reportedly against burying the actress according to Muslim rites.

Chief of the protagonists is the late actress’ daughter, Adun, 20, who has refused to give in to burying her mother according to Muslim rites.

Adun according to report has insisted that her mother’s corpse be flown back into the country for burial.

Reports indicate that some family members are trying to calm the late actress’ daughter down. A source close to the family noted that “Adun said her mother “Must be brought back”.

“I don’t care what anybody says, I just want my mother’s body.”

With the latest demand for the deceased’s body to be brought back into the country, burial according to Muslim rites will almost be impossible.

It was also gathered that the cost of burial in developed countries is expensive with Canada, where the actress died, costing as much as $15,000.
