Lebanon, Portugal Arrive For Copa Lagos

Lebanon and Portugal will touch down in Lagos in the next few hours as they compete in the 2nd edition of Copa Lagos. The Beach Soccer tournament which has FCMB as its key sponsor will commence on the 14th December.
Argentina arrived a day earlier than Lebanon and Portugal. Defending Champions Nigeria complete the line-up for the 3 day Beach Soccer tournament, Nigeria begin their campaign against Lebanon, whilst the first match of Copa Lagos is a heavy weight clash between Portugal and Argentina, the match kicks off at 2pm.
Nigeria and Portugal are the early contenders for the coveted Copa Lagos trophy. Nigeria overcame Brazil 9-4 in an exciting encounter last year. Portugal on the other hand are 6 times European Champions.
All teams will be training on the 13th December at Eko Atlantic, they will get to see the venue and familiarize themselves with their surroundings as they compete for glory. Copa Lagos gets underway from the 14th up until the 16th December this year. Nigeria is the defending Champion and will take on, Lebanon, Argentina and six times European Champions Portugal at Eko Atlantic. Tickets are on sale.
