Edo State Commissioner for Investment and Public/Private Partnership, Dennis Idahosa has defected from the All Progressives Congress to the Peoples Democratic Party.

Idahosa who was received by the state PDP Chairman, Mr Dan Orbih  said “The reason I am joining PDP is that I don’t agree with the way Oshiomhole abuses our elders and President Jonathan. I stand to support President Jonathan for the presidency.”

He also added that more commissioners are willing to join PDP.

Meanwhile, eight PDP governors are reportedly in secret pact with APC.

According to the source of a popular newspaper, some of the governors went into the pact after they were denied control of party structures in their state by the national leadership and some had to go into the secret pact when they realised that the APC Presidential Candidate, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari has a large followership in their state.
