Blessing Akakporo was livid after catching his wife in bed with another man at their residence in Ekiugbo community, Ughelli North Area of Delta State. He immediately descended on the wife and cut off her ear whilst the lover escaped.
A month later he was able to lure the lover to a neighbouring community where he used a weapon to pluck out the man’s eyes.
Sources say, “A month later, precisely on May 30, Akakporo lured him (yet-to-be-identified victim) to a neighbouring community, where he used an unknown object to pluck off his two eyes after overpowering him.
“While attempting to escape, the cry from the victim attracted youths, who chased and caught him. They stripped and beat him thoroughly before handing him over to the Police.”
Celestina Kalu, Delta State Police PRO confirmed the incident saying the suspect also stabbed the victim all over his body.
